Point The Direction Please

Alright guys, I finally took your advice and put a halt in all the different science projects (frozen bottles of nuetrient ph balanced water, frozen milk gallons infront of a fan, etc!). Thanks

Before, my room temp was 89-92F degrees. Now, it's at 79-81, This is a good temperature.

My water before was at 84-87F degrees. Now at 76-80F degrees. I already put aluminium on the tops.

Is this a working water temperature?
If not, what should it be around?
Can I put a wooden board underneeth the plastic reservoirs?
Can carpet collect heat even if there's 6-8 gallons resting on it?
Should I buy another fan to blow air at the containers (probably would make it worse)?
Should I put my air makers inside a dark cardboard box covered in reflective material?

Thank you for reading =)

Try using a small 4" squirrel fan with some 4" dryer ducting and direct it to blow right on top of the water surface in your rez. The evaporation will cool your solution. Your water temps are still too high for healthy root growth.
