[insert standard firearms-ownership disclaimers here]

I have never carried. I’ve never felt the need.

I know people who will NEVER leave home unarmed, often with pistol(s), knife, +…

I know people who won’t answer their own door unarmed.

NONE of them are victims of crime, the likes of which they arm against; none have risky occupations; none live in dangerous neighborhoods. ALL of them are “real American patriots” of the sovereign citizen persuasion. EVERY ONE *knows* deep in their bones that they’re not afraid, that they’re out to protect others, but not one has piped up with a tale of their arms coming into play beyond brandishing (aggravated menacing), not one has told me a story about the person they were able to protect *because* they were armed.

Having known most of these jokers for many years, I just don’t believe them when they say they’re not afraid; I think they have a sense of powerlessness that goes SO DEEP that they can’t look at it, can’t let themselves feel it for what it is, so they take up that power stick in the name of others & it becomes the confidence they lack without it. Such people are IMO poor choices for defenders of the public peace…and tend to be crummy neighbors, too.

Whether or not they’re “nice people” is kinda beside the point
"sovereign citizen persuasion" If you're gonna talk about how scared people are, don't be afraid to say white people

I was looking at 2 years when I was driving through ND for like a gram of weed and a glass pipe. Fucking hicks, :bigjoint:
Let's see in NY, for weed DUI, i got conditional license (which you gotta pay for), $900 fine, $750 drivers responsibility fine (only 250 paid off, you can pay off over 3 years minimum 250 a year), 11 weeks drivers responsibility classes, another few hundred bucks for the course fees, gas money to drive an hour each way to these classes, bada bing, now i just had to get THC tested by the detox clinic and the guy wanted to come in the bathroom and literally watch me piss and i flipped the fuck out on them which probably didn't help my cause. Still haven't got the result either. If it's positive i gotta go back or apparently i could end up in court again

That's nothing. I had a .10 when CA first set .08 as the new limit. Fuckers impounded my car even though I was block away from home and I had friends there asking to take my car home. Got a $1500 fine that I never finished paying because I said fuck you CA after that, and had to pay like $600 for alcohol awareness class.

I guess they didn't appreciate that when they were taking my mug shot I kept flipping them off, :bigjoint:

The police ruined a year of my life over like a half gram of weed i chiefed before driving to mcdonalds one morning. They impound and smoke the shit themselves anyway. They can suck my ass
We are lucky, It's pretty lax here in Aus. First time caught was when i was 17. 22g on me and just got police mandated drug diversion which is a short 30 minute talk session and no court appearance, . Second time was three weeks later with 3.5g and I chose the "court mandated diversion" and had a second drug diversion session. When I was 24 they got me again driving around with 17g. Got a small fine and went to court, no arrest. Got no conviction and a good behavior bond for 6 months plus a small fine.

Got caught again at 28 with 19g and got another fine and good behavior bond, no arrest. There was never any attitude from them or any forced arrest. Never any handcuffs or anything. They just give you paperwork and you go to court later on. Our state is one of the stricter states here, but they have always been pretty lax about personal use, especially if you don't try talk your way out of it at court. Got caught again at 31 smoking a bong while driving and they threw my bong in the bin, emptied my chop into the grass and told me they have bigger things to worry about. Got a fine for DIU, lost licence for a few months and got probation as they were more worried about the driving than the 0.6 grams in my bowl and my bong lol.

Been quite a few years now with no issues, but it will be a different story now im growing.

Maybe i should move to australia then. Things sound more chill there. Besides i only got caught because i was driving high and the only reason i drive high is because i do everything high and the only reason i do everything high is because i am almost 30 and don't get laid and my job sucks and i hate everything, which in theory is fixable and then i won't have to be setting myself up for situations like this. I can dream.

We can all dream lol. They go pretty ham on growers though so I've been watching my shit closely. I've gone 8 months in uni accom smoking daily and growing lol no one here knows i even smoke let alone grow.. I've gone double carbon filter in the tent, a scrubber In the walk In coat room that the tent is in (3x2.5m) and an air purifier in the bedroom attached. I blow into a smoke buddy with a purifier beside me lol..

Wow that's really impressive. It's legal to smoke and grow now in NY so luckily i dont have to watch my back as much. Of course they caught me just before the law changed. Probably didn't wanna miss out on a quick buck. Besides they won't catch me anyway even if it becomes illegal again. I'm on a mission from God.
