There is a reason to have your lights operating at night time.... The outside air is cooler, therefore your room's intake is going to be cool too. I have mine on at night for temp reasons, especially when summer comes. don't want to shut down during the best time of year... Thats when I spoke the most, when I am admiring my guerilla grow.:bigjoint:

mine are on at night to maximize stealth. when im not home during the day, everything looks how it should look.

I run lights at night because my cab is in an unheated building.... so I have both heating and venting in the cab. Less of each if I run at night.

I think everyone tries to do their lighting at night, I think it's human nature to think that doing it at night is trying to hide it.

In reality it's easier to have the lights buring in the daytime because if you have any light leakage it isn't as noticeable when the sun is out. I vote for daytime for that very reason alone.

Think about, if you have 12,000 watts of light burning in your closet and open it up when the sun is out it won't be as noticable as when you open it up in the middle of the night and light up three rooms in your house.

That's a huge fucking closet if you can fit 12,000 watts of light in it:bigjoint:

I've been running a little too hot, and from this post I'm thinking it might be a good idea to switch the lights on at night instead of during the day. I'm in the middle of flowering (just finished the 4th week). Can I still do this without shocking the plant?

Depends where your set up is. In house or shed etc and how much light will get in at day if you had lights on at night.

Did you know that lights on at night will save power during off peak time.

Check with your Electricity provider maybe?
