god damn it every time i go to start a journal i have probelems. fuck it, here it grows...
just got my tents in everthing assembled and cleaned(took 3 days just about) some shit from when i started t12s boi! some HPS ballast and "some" wire from my days. first regulator(from a long time ago) broke it, froze and shattered in half:/

what a mess!..............much better:)(flowering tent left veg right)
DSCI1002 - Copy.jpgDSCI1009 - Copy.jpgDSCI1029 - Copy.jpg
his is the tent awesome quality 90$ roundbout sleeves and everthing light proof
DSCI0995 - Copy.jpg
lights on(outside tent duh!) lights off(lights are on inside tent both times; veg tent)
DSCI0999 - Copy.jpgDSCI1000 - Copy.jpg
i got my 2 tent facing each other with a shelf betwwen stuffed over in the corner of my basement behind things(wall of poly wall of stuff). flowering tent is the one on left is 400w hPS (ran at 430w by a lumatek in the window sill cooled by the exhaust from the veg tent) i got x2 dual bulb t12s(not lit up in pics) in opposing corners with full spectrum and cool+ bulbs in the the farthest corner is 160w MVB solarglo(UVB)cooled by the exhaust from the 6" and filter fan. 200cfm filter 6" fan aniother 6" fan for the light ran at half power(thinking about swithing the dimmer to the fan and letting the light get full power fan) Co2 monitor (still working out the kinks running every 2.5 hours) and co2 drip irrigation in the future. oscialting fan all that.

veg is a 6bulb t5 no CO2 (my ambient levels in the basement are elevated,700 ppm average 900, when the hot water heating is on, who knows when the furnace is on!) ocialting fan can 9000 4"fan to exhaust out onto ballast. new 6 pod cloner works very well very east to clean and control.(major issue with the "buchet style" aerocloners)

as far as "how i grow" semi soilless soil and for nutrients mostly organic top feeds and teas and some Ioninc, little bit of everything in small amounts.

strains, BF bluecheese, purple bagseed, purple x Bgum, WW x Bgum, umm some random plants(chrsanthenums, marigolds, whatever happens to just get planted) and some others will be picking up from a friend and few im gonna germ soon like a rocklock fem i got from a friend around here tahnk you!

made my first treament with forbid yesterday everything looks good hoping for a turn around from some major mite issues from here so that is for now.
(disregard the plants in flower i dont wanna hear about it i experience it everyday!)

+rep for all the hard work. I'm sub'd. I think I'll have more room than I originally thought, but we'll see. I've got a question...I know a bit about CO2, but if I put a tent in the garage and run the car for a few minutes is there any benefit from CO? (other than me falling asleep, getting higher, or passing out LOL) I know there's no way to control a car exhaust :)

no but pipe the water heater exhaust in and that's a good source of co2. you're car is gonna put out a carbon monoxide instead of carbon dioxide , carbon monoxide will kill most anything .

Humans and other animals, but what reading I've done, it doesn't kill plants. I'll ck in the water heater. Tnx.

you must be rich ;) gas is like 4$ a gal, even for the benefit for bud its not worth it plus theres a lot of bad shit in car fumes and like DB said more CO and than Co2

Naw, it's only $3.69 LOL. I figured 3-5 minutes and the ambient CO would be enough. There are a bunch of evil polycarbons...no kin to Polyarcturus...in exhaust that prolly would be a problem. Forget the CO...another toke, please LOL
5star given :)

hell yeah lol.
any i got a question, for anyone who knows.(hoping wetdog sees this)

i just sprayed with forbid 3 days ago and mites are looking like they are under control i just got my abamectin in, i know forbid states do not use other insecticides after initial treatment(but it does say you can mix the 2! at that time!) should/could i use it now? i want mite destruction i know it may not be ideal but if i treat now i know i wont be tempted to spray again till its recommended according to lables.

what do you guy think?

Scroll down until you get to Wetdog's answer.

You want to get rid of them, but not go Uncle Buck on them :)

i know i pmed him to make sure hes a good guy very smart. im just so pissed they have fucked things up for the last time for me im just trying to have the equivalent of a mite nuclear bomb :)

im leaning against it gonna wait 2-3 weeks when i switch my 2 vegging plants into flower.

BTW, nothing against Uncle Buck....he knows a lot about this stuff and has my respect for that, but in politics he's waaaay too emotional as opposed to passionate. RIU should come up with an emoticon for "going Uncle Buck on someone" LOL. If he reads this he should give me a +rep for that :)

If you mixed and applied the Forbid correctly, the mites will be gone. It's not just a contact killer like roach spray. It has a 30 day residual and keeps on working.

DON'T APPLY ANYTHING ELSE!.

The plants will look worse for a bit as the mites die. Don't worry about it, the leaves will die and fall off. Give them a couple of weeks to recover if it was a bad infestation.

Just sit tight.

i mixer according to the instructions, 3/4 ml forbid and 1 ml adjuvant to 1/4 gal water liberally applied. the plants do look much better allread and i have not notice an increase in mites thats for sure just making sure it is all good byitself i will hold off on the avid.(a couple leaves are dying but the mite infestattion on these plants wasnt quite so bad to start with, a rising population like the forbid label says)

quick little update; got some pics coming soon, but right now im twisting my brain around this Co2, not only are my temps a problem currently (95+) but my co2 just seems to be leaking away.(after spending a 100 on this monitor) im thinking about scraping co2 for now and going the old school way :(

went ahead and converted to naturally aspirated dont know what im gonna do about co2 looks like i need another inline fan cause the duct fan was letting out too much are and not pulling enough out. then i think ill need to get some plastic and cover the outside not looking like its worth it may just have to build a cab out of wood the fabric to the tent is too thin apparently or the seal where it is sown are not tight enough, dont know ducting is taped the fuck up though so im just giving in on c02 for now, a least im setup for later :)

haven't got around to germing my seeds still too many other things to do..

i imagine most of my leaf damage is from the mites or the forbid. but a little may be from pH lockout thus the need for the refreshing the dirt. hopefully after transfers next week everything will be looking top notch!
