popcorn buds

hello family i grow pineapple express for nine weeks. it came out beautiful.the question is the popcorn buds the buds thats not developed yet do i lower my light and continue to flower or move on to the next grow which is dj short blue moonshine?

you can harvest the top buds then lower your lights or you can just make hash or canna butter with the popcorn buds its up to you.

if you have plants ready to go into the flower room, then move on with the next grow. next time you may want to prune the lower stuff out that wont fatten up due to lack of light. read up on lollypopping. what size lights are you using?

corrections the popcorn buds are developed but not mature yet.i dont really want to do another 4weeks off flowering if Iit's not going to be worth the wait.as for the light its a 1000watt my clones are ready to go into the flower room. i was thinking about giving the popcorn a week to finish up but i dont think it will help much.what do you think?

I would just chop the whole plants the popcorn buds won't get too much better. lollipoping is the way to go though then you get no popcorn bud and more production in the main colas. their like the suckers on tomato plants if you don't pull them off your prime tomatos don't get as big.

nice wattage to be working with. its up to you on giving another week. i think a week would help but may not be worth it. you need to look at the plants you have in veg. are they ready for flower now or could they use another week in veg.

my clones are in 5*5 pots under a t5 light.i will transfer them into 3gal bags and veg them for 2-3 week's.im not sure if i want to scrog or let them do what thay want.the next run is 16 dj short blue moonshine

I find the smaller popcorn buds aren't worth the hassle. I trim the lower growth off my plants before flipping into flower, that way all the buds grown are ones that are worth smoking/trimming. If you have smaller popcorn buds you can just throw them in the trim pile for hash or cannabutter or whatever your fancy is.

yeah i think ur wright. i just looked at them i got a good 20 popcorn tops that looks nice and iced up ill give them until Thursday take what i need and trash the rest

Its a little too late for my method but in my room i have free hanging CFL bulbs hung down into the canopy at roughly 50% the peak height of the plant. This really helps fill in the lower buds that are too far from my HID lights to really dense up. A couple hundred watts worth of CFL lighting added to your garden can really fatten lower buds and add a few zips of nice bud to your yield.
