Portable a/c+2400w of led+hps

Hello, as the title says i want to use a portable a/c in a room 8x8x10 with 1200w of hps (air cooled)and 1200w of led (true 1200w). Will a 12000 portable a/c be able to keep up? I have no intention of using co2 as it would have no meaning with a portable one hose a/c unit and i am stuck with using a portable one.

I would be very eager to hear anyone with experience on the subject. Thank you

Yea it will easily. 1 ton of A/C can do 3 bare 1000s
So in ur case id worry about smell from A/C and cooltube shade leaks.
Id use A/C as intake and buy a can6 with matching filter. Cause when temps are good the AC compresser only shuts off and fan stays on

You lack to realize, that this is a portable AC. Read the whole post. I cool 4k aircooled with a 14k portable dual hose in the winter, and 2400w with the same in the summer, and its a struggle holding temps.

I know portable ac and evaporation coolers well.
u can duct cold ac air aslong as u have outtake on tent. If ac is in tent its a waste of space. And ac kicks smell out

Personal i drove away from portable A/C for the smell factor. But they work good for outside tent air. I use water cooled evaporation fan coolers

Hello, yes, this is a portable air conditioner with one hose. Very inefficient. As stated earlier, i will use active exhaust, it will essentially be an active intake (portable a/c), active exhaust grow setup in this room. Inefficient, but there is nothing else i can do. I will insulate the window with styrofoam and reflectix and drive all exhaust from my fan and from my a/c to the blinds of the window and then outside.

I hope that with half lights being LEDs (1200 true watts) cooling will be easier. Seems i will have to see for myself. Mr.smileyface, the smell factor can be solved by driving hose of the a/c to a box with carbon filter and from there exhaust the carbon filter box with an exhaust fan. Don't know if i am being comprehensible (iceolator does not help :P)....

Stepch1ld, i guess you haven't checked LEDs? Are you using the portable a/c as active intake and you are working with active exhaust from centrifugal fans or such too?
