Hey people I have a 1.35m squared and about 2 meter high grow room with 9 plants. I have a 600w Sodium above them and I have just bought a 200w CFL.

The dilema is were do i position the CFL? Either:
Next to the sodium (Above the plants)

Below the plant line in the middle of the bush! to give light to all the undergrowth??

I need to gain maximum yield, plzzzzz help!!

cheers

I would put it over the tray of clones I hope you took from those 9 plants...

just kiddin'...sorta.

I would use it for sidelighting if you have a lot of lower growth/aren't a person who does a lot of trimming. Otherwise..place it up top by the hps.

how bushy are your plants? pics? Are they spread out in your space or are the pots touching/as close together as possible?

I ask because it seems like a bit large of a space for a 600. Roughly 30 watts per sq ft. 50wpsf is fairly standard/optimal for blooming.

In other words, if you can close your space in a bit and increase the light intensity per sq ft you will more than likely increase your yields. Pruning to decrease the amount of "popcorn" buds may also halp.

good luck
