Hi guys,

I left my plants in the care of my of housemate for a couple weeks, all were ok on my return except for one. The poor plant :( All the fan leaves had fallen off, the remaining leaves have turned yellow and the stem is a deep purple and completely hard as wood. It's 8 weeks into flower, should I just chop it down before mould or fungus sets in?

Some info,

Bagseed sativa, possibly chocolate thai
Fed with Bio Bizz nutes and molasses at pH 6.5

U always have to watch for mold/bud rot. Doesn't matter when u chop.
And I would wait. Try to get it to rehydrate. Squeeze another couple weeks out of it if you can.

Cheers guys, I have no idea what he did wrong! :D He swears he followed my directions to the letter. My other plants are healthy, just this one decided to get sick.

I reckon it's a pH thing, as it's been in the same pot since veg and I didn't flush it. This is because my other plants were xpalnted 2 more times whilst this one remained in the same pot, so believe it to be a salt build up. I tried flushing it on my return a week ago, but it had no effect and the problem progressed.

What's also scary is that the today 8 days later the soil is still very moist. I don't think it's taking up any water any more :(

Hmm if its dead or seriously sick it will lower potency as time goes by, harvest if dead but it don't look too too bad in the pics. Shame as weed would be great with at least two weeks. See how it goes in the next couple of days and keep it in a dry or low humidity area.

Thanks Kingrow1, it's an odd one. I've definitely seen new flower growth on it. But the soil is still quite moist. I did flush it quite generously, about 5x the pot size.

Still guys this will take a lot of time, re-veg is really not an option over growing a new plant. Even if it dose finish flowering it has destroyed any decent yeild and will always be small.

Do you really need this plant, have you got others in flower and is this the only problem plant? Suppose these are the main considerations.

Sick plants take a lot of time and effort. Sick plants in the flower room cost yeild. Yours looks sicker than sick but hey it would be good to keep it hanging around just to see if you can fix it, be worth the practice.

Haha you were a noob back then!lol! Looks like you never got the hang of this plant. Probably resulted in a lockout of some kind. Kill her or use her for scientific experimentation.

Hey guys, i was wondering if someone could help me out. My friends likes to throw seeds in my yard to be jack ass's and i was wondering if one actually grew or if this isnt a marijuana plant at all? Could someone help me out.

No its not a weed plant, looks close but veins are different on weed. Keep it growing to be sure, it dose look similar but the veins on the leaf are different. Is it a maple or similar. Start a new thread to deal with this!
