Pot size autoflower height

Hi, is it true that if i plant autoflowers in small pot (1,3 gal = 5 liters) that will control plant size ? How if i plant in those pots two different strains, one that can grow 120cm and one 80 cm in normal pots - would they grow to similiar size in small pots ?

It's the same concept if you put a fish in a small pond it will only get so big. Because it's environment allows for smaller growth. But you put the same fish in a big pond and the fish gets bigger. The bigger pot you have the more room roots have to grow.

Do you know what is tent size in that photo ? Thing is i try to figure out is it possible to grow 4 small autoflowers in 60x60 (2x2) space

On what else if the pot size dont make so much difference ? I heard that pot size will restrict root growth and that it will signal in veg that they should start flower
Don't think that's the case. It's the length of dark time that determines flowering, not pot size, feeding them flowering nutes etc. A rootbound plant can have bad things happen, but then again...I've seen solo cup challenges where folks grew some impressive plants using the cup

Length if darkness doesn't determine flowering for autos like OP is growing.

no clue I just pulled it off the internet. Why not 1 or 2 or get a bigger tent?
Few things - electricity cost where i live is absurdly high and i didnt finish soundproofing room and fan for my 2x4 so i thought ill use 150w led for half of my tent for now, id love to try more than 2 strains and for personal use i dont need big yield. Last time i grew in 2x2 with 3 gals and i ended up with 2 plants about 2 ft tall, each took around 40x40 space o thats why i would love to grow smaller ones. Maybe i should try to tie branches too bamboo sticks/net to fit 3/4 plants. Also im starting to think that photoperiods would be better since i can control veg time - i just thought pot size would restrict autoflower vegging time (fabric pots to let them root prune)

Grow photo period plants and flip to flower earlier.

Some autos will flower early in a solo cup or a 1 gallon pot not all of them

If you wanna keep the autos small just plant a bunch in 1 gallon pots they should grow pretty much a single cola with minimal side branching
Alright, i saw some reddit etc posts where people grow 4 1 gallons in 2x2. I was thinking about 1,3 gallon but i should stay on the safe side of 1 gallon. Sadly i cant find nice blueberry and blue dream photoperiod seeds that are similiar to fast buds version of this strains.

My 2x2 treated me good for a long time, but 4 plants would be pushing it in there.
1 or 2 plants is ideal and your final harvest really wont change much by plant numbers. 2x2 will only fit so much.
Bigger pots and fewer plants is much easier

I grow 2 plants in 2x2 last time, want just more strain diversity (im aware they should have similiar height/flowering time)

Just seems to be too much to me.
Autos probably arent the best choice if you are looking to control size like that. Photos you could 12/12 from seed and easily run 4 in there.
Stagger your plantings, and you could have a small scale perpetual.

I guess i just have to try, some people say its possible some not. I remember my first ever grow ive done in a 1x1 mini tent and i fitted 1 LST'ed auto in 5-6l pot
