Pot Substitutes

So the doc said that I can't smoke pot anymore because I'll get really paranoid and psychotic. Apparently I also don't have enough self-control to limit how much I consume per day (according to a non-smoker).

The problem is I really love to smoke. It's not just getting high, it's sitting down, turning on some beats, having a snack, and inhaling some smoke.

The only substitute for smoking pot that comes to mind is smoking tobacco. And believe me I've thought of it, but I'm holding off for now.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fill the void?

Now all I've got is booze, which is probably why I'm posting right now.

Try a hobby, yoga, or meditation. As far as a drug subsitute I'm not sure if filling that void with anything else is very healthy

See a doc and get a mild prescription of Abilify. That will help with your symptoms and you can still smoke weed. Alcohol has too many bad side effects.

id say go to a mmj site and check out strains that don't give anxiety.. i'm sure there are tons of them out there same as there are probably just as many that are known to give anxiety.. if one strain doesn't work for your needs, try another.. there are hundreds if not thousands of different strains out there all of which have differing effects, just find the one that fits your needs and you should be good to go..
it's rather sad when your dr. thinks he knows anything about marijuana and it's effects and simply tells you to stop smoking instead of working with you and try to find a strain that fits your needs.. i'm sure if he told you to take say diluadid for pain and it didn't stop your pains, he surely wouldn't tell you to stop taking all prescription drugs but would rather write you a script for a different drug that has a different effect on you.. same should be done with bud.. oh yah, that's right though, marijuana is not giving the dr kickbacks for prescribing it like big pharma. companies do with many of their pills..
