Potato bugs and earthworms

I transplanted my 6 and a half week old Indica into a 12 gallon bucket, and I found out that there is tons of earthworms and potato bugs in them. I believe earthworms are fine, but don't potato bugs harm your plant? How can I get rid of them using cheap, easy methods since I don't really have any special products nor do I have the money?

Help anyone?
