Potential for 1st Grow in 7ft wide x 2ft deep x 8ft tall stealth.

I'm starting to put together a stealth cab that is roughly 7ft wide, 2ft deep (I know its my big constraint at the moment), and 8ft high(thankfully I can go to the ceiling!)

In this setup I plan on running a custom ez-clone mister "aeroponic" setup. I plan on running a double stacked rubbermaid bin/reservoir system to keep the roots out of the pump. Initially I plan on growing AK48 (got them in just the other day!) I'm probably going to venture out and grab Plushberry for Round 2/3 depending on how well cloning goes.

For lighting I will be using a 600w HPS and a 400w MH (I'm also considering eventually adding t-5 flos on the sides to increase yield if that seems like a viable option). I think going over 1kw would be over kill in such a small space the 400w MH may be overkill?

I plan on taking a 2-3ft section of the cab and sectioning it off for clone/vegging
adding shelves should allow me to keep a mother or 2 and a rack of clones vegging I think, thoughts?

For Fresh Air exchange I have an AC Duct direct into the top with an inline duct booster fan that will run constantly regardless of ac running or not (again thoughts on this?) and exhaust will be filtered through the attic I figure with the small volume and venting into the attic I should be fine... if odor starts to become an issue I can pickup an ozone genny or a carbon filter.

I would love to see some suggestions for timers for both the lights and hydro, though I fear I may have to take my microcontroller experience and just build a system that can control my lights and hydro through relays, not impossible but I'd rather but timers at this point :D

Oh and I planned on running Bontanicare Organic Hydro Nutes...

Oh a little more about my "plan of action"
once my cabinet is assembled (I plan to have it ready by the end of Oct), I will germ my beans, now since I'm going to an aero system for veg and flower I don't need a medium, well its looks difficult to impossible to get a sprout into a neoprene net-pot cover. So I figure when I'm starting from seeds I'll just just rapid rooter plugs and when I clone they don't get a medium.

I have 10 seeds I was thinking I would germ them all, transfer the good ones to plugs, when they look good enough to take a clone do so and put to flower, check for sex and kill the boys. I figured in a 4-5ft space I could safely consider growing anywhere from 4-12 plants depending on the size I wanted to grow, does that sound reasonable? in this type of aero system it seems that smaller plants with larger numbers are better? I'm thinking that I should probably run 2 systems with 4 plants each in my flowering room?

ok I'm sure I'll have more questions but comments and concerns are welcome

oh and back to the original question with this concept and with 4-8 plants can I get a low end ballpark from what I've read on ak48 the yield seems descent so I thing a reasonable expectation for the first run through would be 2-4oz and after tuning and tweaking I would think 8-12oz wouldn't be unreasonable am I way off base? Not enough info?

Anyone? I'm just looking at trying to determine how effective this setup will be, approx how many plants I'll be able to grow effectively etc... I'm starting construction of the grow room this week and would like some opinions if possible

Sounds like the space would be perfect for two 400 watters in cool tubes. IMO a 600 and 400 would be unbalanced and too hot. Id say go with 6 plants in that spacewith 2 400's. Lst to keep height down and you should be happy.

i would eye up 600's they are the most efficient lumen per watt lights and you have lots of hight to play with so penetration is going to be key and with cooltubes (I use supernova's they rock) they will stay plenty cool enough. If its stealth dont fuck around with not getting a filter honestly thats just silly. Buy one the biggest you can afford.

I also recommend a temperature controller to keep the noise down when the lights are off at night, big fans make big noises and big lights make lots of heat. You need to deal with this in a way that it is undetectable.

Also what kind of house are you in ? terraced ? detached ? if your in a terraced house you do not want to vent heat into the attic IMO you never want to vent heat into an attic.

Just my stoned ramblings, take em or leave em. ;)

Not sure what you mean by terraced? The house was built in 86. Why shouldn't I vent into the attic? I don't really have anywhere else to vent I could try to figuresomething out I suppose but what is the reasoning behind your suggestion?

As far as temp control is concerned I'm implementing a custom controller that will monitor temps, humidity, and control fans, and lights and water pumps, I'm a noob growing but I have electronics skills :)!

I'm going with either a 600 hps & 400 mh or 600 hps and t5 grow flos I want to give them both spectrums during flowering

It can melt snow on your roof in winter (if you live somewhere with snow, and it shows on thermal cameras if the police do a fly over.

Ah OK I get those reasons and thankfully those are of little concern, I live in a veeeeeery warm climate I don't think its ever snowed here and the flir thing doesn't concern me I'm not producing to sell and no one else knows outside of my wife.
