pound shop roses

Hello all,
I have bought a couple of bare root roses from the pound shop and they have already started sprouting one is a bush the other a climber should I pop them into pots for now and plant them out later in spring or take a chance and plant them outside now, i'm not very savvy when it comes to roses and I don't know how well they deal with frost etc ? i'm in the south east of England any help would be great !

I'm not 100% sure but you could probably put them out now. Roses are pretty hardy but if you have concerns then put them in pots for now but by all means get those roots in some dirt if they having new growth. I'm in Portland Oregon called the City of Roses. We have a world class Rose Garden. I absolutely love roses. Another reason I love this place so much. Good luck with your roses. I hope you enjoy them very much.


Portland's International Rose Test Garden. I go there often to enjoy the beauty. It was a winner when I was dating. The ladies thought I was sensitive. Ha ha ha. But it got me inside their pants and that's all I really cared about at the time. Now I go there with my forever lady just to enjoy the view.
