So I noticed a few spots of Powdery Mildew on a few leaves on my plants and I went down an bought some powder (I threw away the label) anyways it said to mix 1 spoonful (they provide the spoon with the powder)
And I sprayed and the guy over the counter said it would out right kill the PM and I don't think it did 100%
It's been a week should I spray one more time?
All plants are ready to be flipped but in vedge stage still
Also I've been reading about making a milk spray?
I read 1part milk 9part water
another article said 40milk/60water
Has Anyone done this milk method before??
Looking to flip them ASAP but wanting to kill alll PM before doing so (all personal so I'm not too picky)
Any suggestions??
What's the humidity level supposed to be at I'm going down and getting a dehumidifier in a few days
Also been reading about sulphur burners
But back to the milk - anyone done that before??
I do with lights on yes??

fungicides work well...if you had just a few patches of pm and its not popping up again Id say you are good to go...but..I would spray them down once more, wont hurt em. You can treat them with fungicide all threw flower if need be. Keep you RH as low as you can in flower and you should be fine. I say noway on the milk, milk doesnt smell good when it sits:P Always spray with lights off, and you can treat your plants every 5-7 days as needed

chances are none of those will work, as i have tried it before.. you need to clean up your grow area, get good air circulation, keep the humidity down and make sure the air exchanges are good. pm will come back and you will be pissed. whats your humidity and such like?

I had pm once 6 or 7 years ago I something called actinovate. Its a fungicide it worked pretty good, I haven't had it since. You need to clean the room also get all the spores outta there and get a fan if you don't have one in there.

I hate to break it to you, but the pm is within the plant itself and will keep coming back unless it's treated with a fungicide. When you can see it on the leaves, it's basically spreading throughout the garden. The powder you got was most likely green cure, or some other sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) mixture. That basically changes the ph of the leaves to more alkaline which makes it harder for the pm to grow. Problem with those powders is that in flower, they will turn the pistils brown and you will be spraying a couple times per week to keep it at bay. Air flow around the edges and below the canopy is the Most Important part. The most effective Cure for pm is eagle20, which is frowned upon because it's pretty hardcore, but works. Only to be used when they are clones or very young if at all. You can always rinse them off with regular water (in flower) regularly, and when finished rinse the freshly cut bud in water with h2o2. Google 'jorge cervantes cannabis powdery mildew'. Some strains are more suseptable than others too, keeping the humidity low is critical as well. When you have a chance, clean out your entire grow room with something like simple green pro3 (fungicide, viralcide, bacterial), or a bleach dilution. The spores are in your grow room and need to be eliminated as well.

I'd rather toss the plant in the garbage than use eagle 20...try serenade...it worked good for me a couple years ago on my outdoor.

Try Nuke em. I used to get pm until I started spraying nuke em once a week. Now I never have any bug issues or pm. My two cents.

Eagle 20 can be used on small veg plants but is still dangerous, the half life is really long. Use pure worm casting tea, the bacteria and microbes feed off of the mold and you will be fine until harvest. Best bet from there is to start new plants from seed after a serious cleaning. I use a worm bin that makes its own castings and then a tea brewer that makes tea from the castings. The worms eat my garden waste too, great stuff. Got it from www.goworms.com
