I am new to hydro so I am not getting my girls to grow. They are in sure to grow 3inch rounds. I don't want to over feed them so can someone give me a safe number to start with. I have humbolt veg and bio roots and thrive, I also like giving them some sugar to get em going, and some orca. temp is 81, humid 40.

are they still seeds? keep them at just plain water for the first few weeks.and as thrive do you mean super thrive? throw that crap out! it contains bad bacteria that will give you slime in your rez everytime! i hate the stuff and been growing 15 years and tried it many times.its a placebo and is useless.if it did wat it claims then it would be all you need.and world peace would ensue lol.your temp is fine but humidity sounds low if their still seeds you need to raise your humidity to around 70 or even 80 until they sprout.ive never heard of sugar to get seeds going b4 so im confused there.sugars are what they need in flower to produce resin.plain water and dont feed them until they look deprived! water has everything a plant needs for the first few weeks.what kind of hydro you gonna run?

Start at 100PPM. Results show quickly but don't expect much today. If in 48 hours no growth then increase to 125PPM and then daily slowly - SLOWLY - raise your PPM to around 175-200 in my limited experience. My just-completed DWC White Widow Auto never needed more than 650 PPM and the root system was massive, the yield good, the bud most excellent.

Seedlings need water only at first.

that pretty damn high, and it depends on what kind hydro he is in. in aero i never go above 1000ppm and in dwc 600ppm. you might also try raising humidity and lowering temp, each 5-8 points.

very cool thank you. I should have said they are risen just two sets of leaves with two only having one set of leaves. It is passive basically because I have the sure to grow rounds in cups. The sure to grow holds water for six days. I have only given them 100 ppm so far, but only once in two weeks I didn't want to burn em. the cups have holes the sure to grow just holds the water well. I am using Ro water ph6.5. I will try boosting ppm. My sugar is Carboload. I also have three pineapple kush clones in same set up that wont take more than 200 ppm and barely grow. The lights are six 5500k 23 watt compact flouros. I am using two breathe co2 bags in a 3x3 cabinet to veg em in. Vent is a four inch vortex that runs 15 mins every hour and brings temps down to 78 and then it picks back up over the hour to about 81 82.

aero should require lower due to quicker growth rates than dwc
600ppm is 0.8 - 1.2 ec depending on brand

I go by this chart, you can adjust as you wish depending on the strain.

PPM for Hanna Chart PPM

Seedlings, Early Sprouts ..100 to 250
Early Vegging ......................300 to 400
Full Vegetation ....................450 to 700
Early Blooming ...................750 to 950
Full Mature Blooms ...........1000 to 1600

that makes no sense. aero should be lower because they grow faster? huh? if something grows faster it usually means it needs more. do you grow hydro? and i know what a conversion factor is, i said the most is 600 not little seedlings like he has and what you told him to do, which would probably fry them. give good advice that follows what the op is asking for.
