ppm/ph question

alright guys, ive definitely got some improvements over my last thread, ive bought an ro filter to get 0 ppm water, i bought a ph meter and a tds meter, and ive transplanted my plants into foxfarm soil. so here are my questions:

what should the ppm and the ph of the soil RUNOFF be? the water im giving is 6.5 and the ppm is 0. the runoff ph is 6.5 and the runoff ppm is 1400. is everything ok here???

furthermore, when im cloning, how long does it take for roots to show? and should i clone in a rockwool cube, or in plain water, or what, since soil is my medium?

1400ppm is high if your in the veg state. Its like forcing a baby to eat 1 lb of food. It isnt going to happen and most likely they will show you whether they liked it or not. I say 1400ppm max last weeks of flowering..

i agree, thats what happend to mine. they grow so slow and i had my ph at 6.2 and my ppm at 1450 and it took forver to get up and going, til a friend came by and had me cut it in half... took a week but they slowly recoved
