premature buds

has any one ever chop and cure premature buds like about 8 weekor 7 into flow ering

Yeah i had to recently. Not the best smoke, but pretty decent anyway.

I did so not too long ago because i had one that was a hermie. It was decent smoke too.

my friends done it outdoor, chopped his tree 40 days into flowering, i havent smoked it but the buds look nice!
do plants flower faster with the sun or does it matter?

I trimmed off some premature buds off the lower part of a white widow that wasn't getting much light but they were furry with trichs, it was a little harsh but it did the trick!!! I was impressed! and it was 6-7 weeks into flowering.

compared to what???CFL"S hps ,mh yes it does grow and flower faster if the plant receives light all day long.Just think the sun burns your skin so its very intense light.

i have a 4 month old outdoor indica bagseed, doesnt that flower faster than sativa? i will force flower in two weeks! my plant is really small but i hope i at least get an 8th..i can see hairs on the branches so its a female. i will only flower for 45 days due to some circumstances..
what do you guys think ???

FIRST GROW

Its definitely growing slow. Is it getting plenty of sun?

yea its because its in a small pot maybe but its getting good sunlight, but its hidden in bushes so thats probably why also.
since its vegitating slow, will it flower slow too or what?

I hate to tell you this but something is wrong. A 4 month old indica should be a pretty big bush, and at least 3 feet tall (for the most part, some are shorter). There doesn't seem to be anything REALLY wrong with it, the brown leaf edges on a couple leaves don't look serious enough to do anything. How much light does this plant get per day? because honestly, I would try and get it under the sun, let it grow bigger, and in september you should get more than an 8th. 4 months for 3.5 grams? how is that possible?

Also, 45 days probably isnt gonna be enough. only the earliest of commercial varieties are done then. why not wait an extra week or two, especially since in your case it could double your yeild if you get that plant out in the sun, BTW, you are sure that it's not just the pods you are seeing, but there are white or orange pistils coming out of each one, right? all plants have what looks like a pod there, it is too early for your plant to be flowering, but they could be pre-flowers.

will i done LST a few times to keep it short, and i had to remove some bottom leaves because they became burnt. the the thing is i only have my backyard free from my parents for 45 days and they leave in two weeks and thats when i want to force flower. after that i cant do anything.... should i even try it to see if i get anything? i honestly dont care for the amount i just want to expereince it!

BTW no im pretty sure its a female, there arent any balls visble, just a pair on each branch....

Can't you get it into the woods somewhere? thats what i did. I have harvested early but it wasn't great, probably the best smoke you ever had though. Your own is always the best. Good Luck

I dont know but i've been flowering for almost 90 days now, and at around 40 I was getting jumpy wanted that smoke now... I'm glad i've waited, my buds have yet to stop growing just getting bigger and more dense, as soon as i think most of the hairs are red, more pop up and the smell is amazing. I say let the plant flower for as long as it can, more bud, more trichs, more fun in the end.

i think u should just buy a bag if ur looking for just an 8th. ur obviously a kid and growing is a risky biz. if u still live with ur parents i dont think u should be growing.i started growing cuz im was spending 40 a week on bud so i started growing for personal use. n dnt mean to sound negative but it should be alot bigger and if its not a 12/12 what u see is probably not hairs

i just read the second page, those two little "hair" looking things are not what u think. all plants grow them i think theyre called preflowers. i grew 4 plants from bagseed i saw those "hairs" and said yes i gt all females but no just one turned out to be female. shes huge though 2 1/2 mos outside in a pot gt to 17 in about 2-3 weeks inside got it to 21-23 in , been flowering for about 3 weeks and shes now 33 in and exploding with bud from top to bottom

i had to harvest this early because it has been too dry here. it kind of shriveled up but the bud is looking ok. going to trim today
