Secret Jardin is now Mammoth? Well, yes in a way that is the case. Just picked this up from a local Dutch forum (tnx 'Krasi'):

There have been some problems lately at Secret Jardin, they got into a fight with the original manufacturer in China. As a result they moved the production of Secret Jardin tents to Morocco, basically copied there own tents. The production process is problematic and the resulting quality sucks. Bad seams, holes in fabric leaking light and reflective material that falls off.

The original manufacturer, from China, is also on the market with the name Mammoth Tents <--- those are the originals quality (which is somewhat weird saying about Chinese manufactured products but just so you know...).

Yeah I don't know if they changed the pole material, but my clone tent from Jardin, has 6 rusted out poles, and it's been used only 4 months.... My cheap amazon tent is still holding up fine...

Explain that.

Secret Jardin is still Secret Jardin
They have launched a new product line named "the Revision 2.50" with a "Better quality, easy assembly" concept Even more better than the other brands, who use old concepts !!

Because of a bigger demand from the market, they had to extand to some new factories (in China and in Marocco).
The quality process are working well and the resulting quality is better than what the tent used to be in the earlier revisions.

The new products from Secret Jardin can be recognise by the hammered logo on the mylar (inside the tent) and the name of the brand "Secret Jardin" on the label of the tent.

Some distributors will not hesitate to lie to you as they are willing to sell the products they have in stock !

In your shop ask for the "Real" Secret Jardin (the one and only)
The truth is out there ;-) !!!

Yes indeed I am a Secret Jardin member.
Proud to be part of the team.

Like I was writing earlier, so much wrong informations are being said about us, we need to make sure that our end users get the right information.

To sum it up, Secret Jardin is very proud of the new product Line from the "SECRET JARDIN - REVISION 2.50".
New corners, new tubes, new mylar = "Better quality, Easy assembly"
New models, new technology (new heights, new sizes, ...)

The quality as gone up, but not the prices so come and check it out in your nearest Grow Shop,
There for you to use it at it's best, brought to you by Secret Jardin.

Are you confirming or denying the fact that you had a falling out with your original manufacturers (with whom you built up your reputation of quality). and are now having your tents made by a different manufacturer (with whom you are losing the quality battle)?

Please don't tell us that you switched manufacturer due to high demand as it is well known that you are losing market share to homebox.

You said in you first post that the truth is out there. Now is your chance to clear the air and tell us the truth... Are you still buying your tents from the original manufacturer?

I don't know I got a 4x8 2 years ago and it's completely falling apart and the reflective materials are falling off. I would have already bought a new tent if it wasn't in a fully darked out lung room. Worst tent I've ever purchased and for the price it makes me sick. i thought they were on par with Gorilla Grow Tents but nah those are they only ones who make something expensive and actually give you a quality product. Unless you own a Secret Jardin you don't know about the quality as I had one a while back that was great but they are worse than the super cheap tents!
