Problems with changing the bulb socket from a lightning reflctor

Those are Rib-its (SP?) in order to remove those you must drill our the center, which will cause the 2 outer rings to fall off and thus allowing your socket to be freed from the base.

youll needva pop-rivit gun or nuts,bolts and a washer to reattach..i suggest the rivit gun..less chance of it loosening up over time.

i would just use bolts man, ive done enough electrical work, and mechanical work plus enough stock car racing to know rivets are not always the best lol just use some small nuts and bolts lot cheaper than buying a gun and rivets plus you can re-use them do you really want to keep drilling them out over time?

Hammer and punch the steel center out of it ..Then drill it out.. SS bolt and nut(nylok) replace w/ lock washer.
