problems with my cheese mother

hi guys,

i was gifted some top notch cheese clones wich i turned one into a mother plant before flowering the others.

i planted my mother plant in 5 litres of biobizz light mix then put her in my mother chamber with a 250w cfl

fed her 10ml liquid sea weed tonic PH to 6.4 then left under 24HOUR lights untill the soil was dry 2/3days later, ...water/water/feed...

temps are a constant 24c / 27c
humidity us around 40% / 60%

im getting MAGNESIUM / NITROGEN & PHOSPHORUS Deficiency but i dont know why? the stems are HARD/PURPLE & she getting some very slow growth.

ive flushed the medium with half strength veg nutes EC 1.0 PH 6.3

here are a few pictures of my mother plant, she is a 3rd gen clone thats been 7weeks since cloned and picked as a mother provider.

i trimmed her down after the first week so she would stay nice and small ' i only need a handful of clones every harvest so a giant plant i dont need.

Tell us what in these pics besides stem color indicates any deficiency.

Could it be genetic?

the photos dont tell the full story, there is a mag dificency and the stems are rock solid with deep purple,
burned tips on new growth & a possible PHOSPHORUS accuring

You're answering some of your own questions. Indeed it appears you have a Mg deficiency. The medium you're using has almost zero nutrients in it, which means you have to provide this for the plant. While Seaweed is a great addendum to anyone's nutrient regimen, it is not a 'do all' feed when you're starting with a nearly clean slate (Biobizz Light .4-0-0). What else are you feeding her and at what regimen? Out of curiosity, why did you flush the soil if you feel you're deficient in all of the elements you mentioned in your original post? Flushing is only going to take more of the same out of the soil. Also, be careful comparing a vegging plant to a flowering plant; they are not growing under the same conditions and therefore correlations between the two may not exist as you think. And just a little FYI...you're wasting electricity by running this plant under 24 hours of light. A dark period, while not wholly needed, is beneficial; remember the sun sets every day. Otherwise, don't kid yourself, the plant will shut down for a period of time, even if the lights are left on, so again, no need to waste electricity.
