Most experienced growers know that the price you pay has nothing to do with the quality you receive. Last year Lakeside_Remedy posted Project 4516 cross, and it was (Gelato 45 S1 x Platinum Puff). They have now removed it from their IG.
I had a pack in my cart but couldn't check out lol

Yessir, I have 3 going outside. I have two in 15 gallon and one in a 10 gallon, all coco/perlite. Sidebar: Outdoor hydro is the truth, and i don’t water with nutrients every feed either. I used to search for threads back in the day about it and it’s like 2 people who did it and infinity threads asking if it could work. Well it does lol, you get stupid quick growth and huge colas. And these were transplanted in mid July from 5 gals and are like 5 feet tall AND wide. They get hose water when I’m lazy; I got hella coco/perlite plants going and I’m hand watering lol.
-If you grow it outside, provide the largest pot possible if you come across what I call a “bush” plant structure pheno (see 10 gallon) in order to increase your yield. This first pic is also a bush pheno, but was allowed to grow in 15 gallons. The second pic is the “tall” plant structure pheno. These tall phenos grow fast and kick off lots of secondary branches to create multiple tops via LST, while the bush phenos should be grown mainline style with a predetermined number of colas in mind due to the short internode spacing. Can you tell I’ve run 13 different phenos of this lady and been observing like a mofo? Lolol.
-I think they did better outside for yield vs the 10 i got going indoor. I’m doing all this in coco, so I think my yields are going to be maxed the eff out. These nugs and colas are stupid thick and very trich heavy.
Rant: And all y’all tripping on 350$ a pack. Yup it’s hype as hell, but you aren’t paying that high just for genetics; as most of y’all stated, you can get other strains for less and xyz. What you pay for is the ability as a “business/source/retailer” (for those who are on this path, not the purist ya dada I hate a Berner folks lol) to piggyback off of a known brand that has already paid for all the promotion and hype for you and “guarantee” the product will give a return. The mylar bags are even ready for you, but you are actually able to provide the real strain (even though it’s not the commercial cut, it’s from the source) and can stand out in your market and be known for actually providing the real thing. And you are paying for the opportunity to benefit from undercutting the retail version; this thing goes for $80/3.5 (I couldn’t do it personally lol) but you can get it right here for less.

Project 4516 bx1, indoor phenohunt, 10 total. These are the phenos I have my eye on for my fem seed reversals. Indoor vs outdoor is hella different for sure; hopefully I can keep the outdoor ones healthy long enough into fall so I can get the same color changes on the big ladies. Little golden on the edges from a little too much nutes, but this is that bag appeal “they” want to pay $80/3.5 for.

Lookin pretty...how is the nose on 'em? I only popped 2, both have that beautiful sweet/perfumey gelato scent, one of 'em suuper gassy.
Outdoors in Norcal, both of them seem on the early side compared to other strains. What about you? I'm thinking 1-2 weeks and they might be ready?

Some seeds are hype because there a copy of a copy so fair point! Some breeders charge the money they charge because they don’t see why they should put years of hard work chasing clones and seeds just to sell them for Barney farm prices lol
if cheap seeds still ran the game, then there would be no market for it! Also hard to judge the whole game On the jungle boys they steal names of strains of shit, gage green pack full hermie as I have seen on some seed junkies strains packs of complete rubbish and people still asking for the money or replacement seeds, and he still sorting out his seed saga from years ago!
some seeds do deserve the price tag, and some don’t, like you ain’t getting nikes for the price of no branded trainers! But in the weed game everyone wants the fire but no one wants to pay for it lol

Yeah, 2/3 are pretty much done outside; I’m in Oakland. Here are the outdoor ones today:
Tall pheno. She flowered about two weeks after the bush pheno. This one has more colas, but they are skinnier. Here’s the colors I’m getting outside:
