Ive never run a cool tube set up before, will it work if i have air only pulling through the cooltube out of the tent? or would i require an intake at that point? i have an outtake just no intake

imo, you still need adequite air circulation inside the tent. i run 2 secret jardin 4x4x7 grow tents. both with 600w xl a/c hoods. each tent/hood has its own 440cfm fan and the flower tent has a 440cfm fan and a monster charcoal filter setup. Also, ill have 2 small clip-on or 1 16" adjustable oscillating fans per tent. ALSO ill have a 300 cfm booster fan for intake air and a 300 cfm fan for exhaust air in the veg tent. ill have another 300cfm booster fan for intake air in the flower tent. adequate air movement is crucial for plant health. help prevent PM and keeps temps at an ideal range.

granted im a newb at this, but have spent months and months researching on here and other grow forums for info.

a/c hood setup for both tents
duct/fan/duct/tent/ac hood/duct/tent/duct

carbon filter setup
(inside tent) filter/fan/duct/tent/duct

veg tent booster fans
6" 300cfm booster intake (bottom inlet)
6" 300 cfm fan exhaust (upper outlet)

flower tent
6" 300cfm booster intake (bottom inlet)
the carbon scrubber takes care of my exhaust heat

your intake fan can be less CFM then your exhaust. to keep a little negative pressure for your exhaust fan to get all the smells and stuff.

Execellent way to exhaust your tent. Air movement inside is also a good idea, you don't need a hurricane but just enough to wiggle the leaves.

My grow area is not at all airtight, the door is a panda film "curtain" and a 440cfm fan sucking through the cool tube provides plenty of air exchange.
