Proper way to switch to 12/12 flowering Ebb & Gro

What is the proper way to switch to 12/12? I am using the ebb and gro buckets. I've heard to switch nutes as soon as you switch to 12/12. Give them a 24 hour dark period. Easing them in with half strength. Should i swap out my MH for my HPS right away. Theres a lot of options i just dont know which direction to go to. I'm also using Technaflora BC nutes. All help is aapreciated.

When your ready to switch them just put the timer at 12/12 from the get go. I don't switch my nutes till the second week of 12/12 and yes you would want to switch your bulbs the day you go to 12/12. You don't need to do any 24 hour dark period.

i'd just switch everything out, bulb, nutes, etc. but when you go to 12/12, this is a great time to decide what hours you want the lights to be on. if there is some difference, just leave them in the dark for a few extra hours. it won't matter to the plants. some folks do leave them in the dark for x amount of hours before switching to 12/12. it's just a choice. supposed to let the plants know the season has changed from summer to fall, which means go to flower....

agrreed with silky, switch every thing at the same time. why try to pospone good flowering growth by not giving them what they want
