Properly flush weed vs unflush weed

I noticed when I do not flush the buds stay lime green. Smell is ok and smokes so harsh but looks amazing.

When I properly flush my buds 2 weeks before harvest they look darker. Smell is so amazing and the smoke is so smooth and very flavorful. But dosent look stunning as a bud that didn't get a proper flush.

Its not the way I dry my unflush weed looks amazing. But I can't even smoke it.
Are you flushing with Brawndo that shit is green.

Actually many growers need to flush their grow medium. Not because it makes the weed smoke better but because they overfeed their plants and dump a gazillion gallons of bloom boosters on them. The grow medium is so toxic that flushing is probably the only way to keep the plant alive until harvest. Even then they end up with KFC plants that all the uneducated growers think look awesome.

Take this for example. All the people following that canuck clown on youtube raving about his crappy grows of fried to a crisp plants.

Yes these plants should have had the medium flushed out due to extreme overfeeding by a crappy grower.

And now I bring you the canuck. Nice plants huh? And he flushes.

.
Thought it was Nukeheads for a sec.

Are you using Gatorade by chance?

Or the Tobacco industry. All those billions of dollars. Anything to get an edge. Do they flush? (don't bring that bs about nutrients availability in soil in the autumn, that's been disproved). Again, do whatever you want. I don't care. But I 100% dislike people who even ask. Do you like Big tits or little tits? I don't give a tit.
I like medium ones. :bigjoint:

Who the hell cares who's she's employed by? She conducted a valid scientific study and the results are there for all to see. You probably didn't even read the study. Some of us believe in science not some voodoo thought up by a bunch of stoners.

And it's not just that study. Anyone that knows anything regarding plant science knows that the primary function of flowers is to reproduce. If you take what it needs away from the roots the plant will move stuff from other parts of the plant and move it to the flowers. Nothing leaves the flowers. You can't flush anything out of the plant. All you can do is starve it so it cannibalizes itself.

Answer this simple question. Where do the nutrients you're flushing out go? They don't travel back down into the soil through the roots and they don't drip out of the flowers. So where do they go?

Plant tissue is made of elements. Nitrogen, calcium, phosphorous, etc... are elements. How do you flush away plant tissue?
See this is where it gets very interesting.

As you said the plant cannibalises itself for flower production. True.

But you missed how it will even eat the inner part of the flowers to make new caylexes!

Eventually what will happen is if you have X amount of bud Unflushed in a toxic medium you’ll have X amount of nutrients present.

If those X amounts of nutrients present are then spread out to form new buds the flowers themselves are not as high a percentage as the unflushed bud.

I came across this when I had a severely underfed plant. The inner part of the buds where very pale yellow almost white. While the outter parts are more green.

So flushing on really works if you;

A: Overfeed

B: flush for 2 weeks to distribute your fuck ups :)

One thing that study failed to do is have a overfed plant, a rightly fed plant and a underfed plant all flushed and reviewed.
