Indeed. I've already had a small case of powder mold. Cured with peroxide/water solution. How much should I prune and on day 21 and 45?
Asking questions like that will elicit a bunch of responses so here is mine.
It will depend on humidity lower is better and air flow where more is better. Vigorous air flow strengthens plants stalks and makes it difficult for spores to take hold. Remember that (check local conditions
) pathogens are present in the air at all times but they must have the proper conditions to colonize and thrive. Lights are also a consideration as undergrowth tends to be more healthy when exposed to some light and mimicking natural conditions of a moving sun and constant breeze. Having them on a light mover helps to distribute light to all of the leaves and is more effective with vigorous air/leaf movement.
Back to your question.
That will depend on you but remember a good rule of thumb I learned early in my building career "measure twice and cut once". Translated it means you can't put them back on so provide good conditions, prune judiciously as needed perhaps every week but remember you don't have to cut anything if it looks healthy. The best alternative to a rigid schedule is observation and patience. Good Luck and Happy Growing.
