I've pruned once in veg and once so far in flowering (1 week in) I heard day 21 and 45 in flowering is the best time to prune...? How much?

Please advise.
Thanks!!:leaf:

well i usually prune 2 weeks before flower. I lollipop. Just remove all of the growth that won't get much light and will produce fluffy buds

A little pruning to produce good air flow to the base of your plants will go a long way towards reducing the possibility of Powdery Mildew or Botrytis. And of course good air flow. :weed:

Indeed. I've already had a small case of powder mold. Cured with peroxide/water solution. How much should I prune and on day 21 and 45?

Asking questions like that will elicit a bunch of responses so here is mine. :) It will depend on humidity lower is better and air flow where more is better. Vigorous air flow strengthens plants stalks and makes it difficult for spores to take hold. Remember that (check local conditions :) ) pathogens are present in the air at all times but they must have the proper conditions to colonize and thrive. Lights are also a consideration as undergrowth tends to be more healthy when exposed to some light and mimicking natural conditions of a moving sun and constant breeze. Having them on a light mover helps to distribute light to all of the leaves and is more effective with vigorous air/leaf movement.

Back to your question. :) That will depend on you but remember a good rule of thumb I learned early in my building career "measure twice and cut once". Translated it means you can't put them back on so provide good conditions, prune judiciously as needed perhaps every week but remember you don't have to cut anything if it looks healthy. The best alternative to a rigid schedule is observation and patience. Good Luck and Happy Growing. :weed:

Just a caution after rereading your post, your PM is not cured. PM is very persistent even after treatment ( i currently use a product called Oxidate which is HO2 a hyper-peroxide for agricultural application) and you will need to treat it regularly to keep it from spreading. I have heard that a product called Eagle 20 will prevent/eradicate PM and will see myself when my bottles show up tomorrow.

Ya I've noticed I had to spray few leaves a day with very minimal pw. Will I have to treat until end?
