Pruning under the canopy in flower

Can I prune under the canopy 2 weeks into flower without stressing too much and forcing my flowers into males? Strains are 100percent female. Just want to focus plant energy on the top canopy

You can don’t do too much though that’s the key to not stressing them too much

You can and should.

Not 2 weeks ... wait till more like 4 weeks. Let the stretch finish before you lollipop her.

Day 25 of bloom and all the sucker branches and fan leaves below the frame have been removed.

All at once. There are a few straggler leaves that I went back and removed a few days later. But most of my lollipopping is done in one shot.

A little stress seems to give higher concentrations of most chemicals but too much stress causes hermies and sick plants

There is an excellent article on the Ethos Genetics website, one of the best I’ve ever seen. It addresses lolipopping, defoliation and general plant clean up. It discusses how and when to tackle these and if you are asking these questions, give it a read.

I do it intermittently throughout the first half of flowering, beginning around 2-weeks, and stop after 4-weeks.

@Smokescreen80 - are you doing a SCROG and you are at the point where your main canopy is filling out above the netting and that filling canopy is starting to block any decent light from reaching the sucker branches and LARF below the netting?

Yes maybe a bit past it. They all shot up quite a bit when 12/12 took place of course. I'm going to keep future crops a bit shorter to avoid this.
