purple stems and "weepy" leaves w pics

well first of all I am growing with a 600 hps
my temp stays around 78-82 with light 55 without
I used moo doo potting soil with garden tone 4-6-6
for vegging i used neptune harvest 2-4-1
started budding about three weeks ago and now they are actualy budding for almost two weeks.

so i picked up some fert at agway and the #'s are 9-59-8 blooming and rootin soluble plant food
today i did a foliar feed just to see how they react, they look real bad to be considering a few days ago they were so perky! now they seem to be turning purple and getting very droopy. pic may explain better

plants look a bit better this morning, maybe i was starving them with the neptune? I wonder if thats enough food for them. Do you guys think that 9-59-8 is ok to feed them?
