My 2 week old clone started developing some purple on the stems and its spread to the base of some of the leaves. other than that the plant seems healthy. Is this a problem? The strain is mako haze which isnt a purple strain. The plant is 2 weeks old and I havent started nutes yet although i should

got the clone from a cannabis club in Frisco (prop 215 :hump:). this is what it looked like when I first got it. I took a look online it looks like other peoples plants also have purple in them.

you do seem to have a ph/nute issue with the curling leaves. do you know what your ph is or any nutes yet? make sure it dries real good between waterings

I havent started any nutes yet and im about to check ph today after I get some supplies from the hydro store. I think the curling leaves are from over watering I flushed the plant a couple times trying to get rid of the purple and my drainage isnt that great. I looked closely at the plant and theres some yellow dots appearing on some of the fan leaves too small to get on camera. Im thinking about starting her off with some rabbit turd tea, hopefully itll take care of the problem.

yellow spots starting to show up sounds like ph imballance starting to lock soil. when you flush you need to replace nute because you just flushed what was in there out thats the idea of flushing ( and salt build up ) my plants seem to curl like that when i had a ph/nute/watering problem, hense the purple stems. being that it is a clone you dont need to wait as long to nute like you would a seedling. 1/4 strenght nute, iether veg or flower.

dont worry about the purpling, mine do it most of the time. i do try to keep the main stalk green though and not so concerned about the fan branches or small ones.

adding some phosphorus should help with the purple, but also anything with haze can have purple genetics. so it could be natural
