My week and a half seedlings have purpling on some of their stems just after starting nutes.. Is it bad?
In my opinion this is a huge topic lol and there are so many variables that mean so many different things. It can be normal and it can be abnormal but let's start off by asking you this. What is the strain , temperature, growing medium, lighting,ph, what are you feeding/not feeding ,how often? These are at least a good place to start. My week and a half seedlings have purpling on some of their stems just after starting nutes.. Is it bad?
You will burn it up.I literally bought nothing for this just germinated some bagseed and have seven plants of unknown gender. Under just 3 cfls but already lsted to be very close and all int the sweet spit of the bulbs. Cant upload pics from my phone to this site and can't download apps atm. But they're just in garden soil I got off my grand pa and getting a tomato nutrient he had thats about a 1-1-2 at the proportion in feeding it to them. Plan to get less and make this a legit grow after another week or so of this spur of the moment setup

It doesn't need food at a week and a half. You don't need to feed until those first round leaves shrivel and die off.
Garden soil? It probably has time release ferts in it.
Double check and make sure. Stop feeding for now.
f it was strain related in bagseed wouldnt they all have it instead of just two? It's probably nothing but strain related.
Oh. OK. Good stuff then. No need to feed either way for a while.its unfertilized atleast its just soil thats been through many cycles of growing tomatoes over the years (thats all he grew) some composting but nothing like miracle gro or anything.
Children look different.its unfertilized atleast its just soil thats been through many cycles of growing tomatoes over the years (thats all he grew) some composting but nothing like miracle gro or anything.
Children look different.
The only way they would be the same would be first generation hybrid or a stable line that has been bred true over many generations.
Yes. Wildly different. One could be a 12 week sativa and the other an 8 week indica. Its called phenotype.so I could end up growing different strains out of the same bagseed?

You need to take the time to read up on the sticky thread in the new and indoor and general growing sections.
There is a search feature on the site to.
Some people will give you crap over asking a million questions instead of reading.
Most any question has already been covered.
