CNN doesn't even need an FFC license because it's a cable network. FOX is a broadcast network. No government agency regulates the cable industry for content. So FOX is really under more government regulations than CNN.
So that argument makes no sense.
Also the FCC doesn't distinguished between entertainment and news.
