pvc glue for aeroponics?

what type of glue should i use for the pvc on my homemade aeroponcds system?

i use rain-r-shine pvc cement

Alright. I was just worried it would be toxic

let it dry for 24 hr. then run plain water through it for a few hr

I just use that cheapo blue plumbers glue. The way i figure it is that they use it for pipes that are used for human drinking water, so y not use it on plants? I have been using it in my aero tub and never had any problems over several crops.

yea i was syarting to think the same thing. well i have 100% siliocone at my house do yall think that will work?

let me stress how important it is to let the silicone dry for no less than 24 hours.

i was impatient and couldnt wait. i think i let it stand dry for about 2 or 3 hours.

well that didnt work, turned my water all nasty and made everything sticky from the silicone not being 100% dry

the longer you let it sit the better before you add any water
