Is it safe to use pyrethrum based insect sprays on a flowering plant? can you specify on what stage of flowering you should discontinue use if applicable?

thanks

Ok i'm gonna throw out my opinion cause i'm at work bored and i can't get high.... If that's the same kind of spray you would use on garden vegetables you should be able to spray it on at any stage and lightly wash off (if needed) later... also... if you're using the spray to get rid of spidermites or aphids.... definately try soap and water first (i.e. Dawn dish soap, most dish soaps are plant safe)... you can use it on your plants over and over and won't have any of the side effects the spray does... good luck and i hope this info. helps some!

Ive been a bit unsure about the dish washing stuff on plants, i mean it just doesnt sound right that something toxic that you need to rinse off your washed dishes wouldnt be harmful to you if sprayed on leaves and buds. But either way i might try - i think your talking about the liquid washing stuff, how much would you need or how diluted should it be?
