Hey wiimb, thanks for checking out my grow. Glad to have you for the ride. I enjoyed that thread of yours :eyesmoke:

Got some more pictures today. Mainly of the Northern Lights. Still getting some bad leaves, but I did reintroduce nutes back after a few waters of only cal mag. Looks like they need a feeding. Gave her 1/4 strength.

First pic was yesterday after lights out, the rest are today after feeding. Also threw in a picture of her as a seedling that i found by accident. Was my first one planted and I was surprised she even made it after how unhealthy she was.

Only got one picture of the Stoned Immaculate. Just gave her what was left in the gallon after feeding my big one. She looks like she needs some nitrogen. Got some yellowing on the lower leaves.

Anyway, thought I'd throw up a picture of the main cola

Thanks for reading bongsmilie

Thanks guys. Yeah, i'm surprised with how nice the buds are looking. The leaves seem to be doing worse by the day though. I'm worried about the damage spreading to the buds, but hopefully i'll be able to keep it in check. I miss when all the leaves were perfect green though. :eyesmoke:

Heres a shot of the cab. You can see my third schwag plant in the back on the left. I didn't do any LST on it, and it's basically 12/12 from seed. Had a few problems with pH which really screwed it up. But I kept it to see how it'd do.

#2 is 'top' cola of Northern Lights

Hey guys,

The leaves have gotten worse on the Northern Lights. I'm not sure what's wrong at this point. All the guides i've read and books it looks like a deficiency. Or a few. But the problem started after I hit it with a larger dose of nutes than she was used to. Doesnt make sense that she'd start showing def signs after I hit her with a larger dose..

Any ideas? All help appreciated.

is the soil pH normal between 6.5 to 7.0?
thats what mine done when she locked out nutes because the soil run off tested in the low 5.0 range my leaves looked identical they would brown spot up from the veins of the leaf and slowly turn yellow and curl and die!

Yeah when you asked me to check earlier in the week it came out to around 7, leaning on 6.5. Got the indicator drops. I'm gonna run to the store to get some more water here in 20 mins and i'll check it again. thanks again greennewfie

yeah, it definitely does. Should of heeded your warning when you first mentioned it. It just seemed like it was getting better. Any idea if the pH checks out like last time? I feel like I was just getting the run off of the water i watered with

I just checked the run off after watering and it's at 6.5-7.0. I don't get it. I adjusted the pH of the water before I watered and I've flushed with 2-3 gallons and it's a 3 gallon pot. But starts getting run off after about 3/4 a gallon. After this flush should I also feed it with nutes? 1/4 strength? Or let it be?

Sorry, I've done a bunch of reading but applying it is different... :eyesmoke:

Thanks for reading

On a side note, I've never watered it this much and fully saturated the pot is incredibly heavy... It's never been this heavy after watering lol

--

Update, flushed with 3 times the size of the container with pH adjusted water. All run off came out where we'd want it. If anything, it seems a tad alkaline, but towards the end of the flush it got around where it should be.

I also watered with
1/2 Tsp Tiger Bloom ( 1/4 strength)
and 1 Tbsp of Big Bloom (full strength)

Hopefully we'll see some improvements.

well hopefully that will fix it i heard that salt build up in the soil from nutriants and pH up can do the same thing!
do you use RO water? maybe try use some cal/mag if you got any and never tried that, next watering if it doesn't come around!!

Thanks for the input. It definitely could be salt build up. I use smart pots so I could see a bunch of build up, it's gone after flushing. I do use ro water and cal/mag. I'll def get them next watering with it. I've got to use so much ph up to get it above 6.5 adter adding nutes.

But yeah ph soil checked out fine so I'm hoping the flush will help. They are looking better this morning :eyesmoke:

Definitely will. I gave her some cal/mag today. I didnt want to water her again so soon but I didnt give her any and tiger bloom is super low on calcium.

I do have a picture of the schwag plant. It's still looking pretty bad, but it has its entire life. Here's the top, it's very tiny and it looks like it's starting to ripe. Seems a bit early, could this be a sign of something? Gonna keep reading but any input is appreciated.

It's deformed and I'm wondering if it'll still be okay to smoke
