I have been working on marijuana legalization since the nineties. I smoked weed I grew with Jack Herer after his stroke at a rally in Boston in 1997 and some of the worst drug laws on the books came out of the Clinton administration. Clinton ALSO put 100,000 new cops on the street using federal taxpayer dollars and added 10 billion in funding for new prisons. The ONLY reason marijuana is now becoming legal is because a small army of people like me carried petitions in states that allowed ballot initiatives. After there were enough valid signatures on a petition it would be put on the ballot and voters could vote to legalize or not. First we got medical marijuana bills enacted, and long before prop 64 in Colorado we realized we needed to have recreational marijuana legalized too or else we were going to just give everything over to big pharma. If you think the democrats helped then you are falling for leftist propaganda the way qtards are falling for rightwing propaganda. As far as I can tell illegitimate elections have been occurring since the Tammany Hall political machine in NYC in the nineteenth century. Right now this country is torn between two idiotic warring camps with the 150 million normal people, caught in the middle, who know politicians are all self serving self absorbed assholes. If I had a political leaning it would be Independent and it royally pisses me off that the sleazebag democrats are trying to take credit for work I and many others did across the country setting up legalization rallies and walking blisters on our feet to get petitions signed. I have been beat up by the cops and arrested for cannabis everywhere from New York City to Seattle, Washington. When I started a forum like this couldn't exist, just talking about how to grow was a felony conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance charge and they most certainly throw you in jail for it. The only information were a few books that couldn't be banned due to first amendment laws that todays left seem to want to kill. And you had to buy them directly from the publisher because nobody would touch them due to the content. Politicians are not your friends, cops are not your friends, and in 2022 the marijuana market is being destroyed by greed and ignorance. That's what the politicians brought to the table and it's all they have to offer. There are too many double standards in todays world and I for one can't stand any of it.

All you've really achieved so far is ruining some small growers, selling pesticide laden, moldy bud out of shitty little shops with stupidly high markups, and getting government regulation involved, which has never improved any fucking thing, anywhere, ever.
When you get the government to completely decriminalize and demonetize it, then you will have made a noteworthy achievement.

QAnon's motto is "We are the Storm"
What the fuck is up with that?
And it's being embraced now by Trump & his supporters as a reliable source/proof that the "Deep State" is real & out to destroy Trump, led by pedophile Dems who secretly worship Satan.
No shit, that's what they espouse/believe.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/republican-embrace-qanon-goes-far-120500916.html

What can one say when one of the two major political parties in the USA is accepting this bat shit crazy stuff being vomited out & regurgitated by the POTUS, Trump, and giving their insane ideas merit.

I know what to say & that is vote like your life depends on it in November (it does) & never allow another Republican in office forever,.
Now is the time too wipe the GOP off the political map & regain some semblance of sanity.
Let's make a positive out of COVID-19, if any such thing is possible, & decimate the GOP in November.
Make the death & destruction perpetrated on this country by Trump & his enablers in the GOP worth something.
Sounds like hate speech to me. I'm surprised, that on a stoner's website to be people like you that spew so much hate.

I have prevented thousands of people from going to jail which was my motivation in the first place. I was sick and tired of watching peoples lives destroyed over some psychoactive flowers. I personally was pulled out of college and put into a jail cell even though it was my first offense, I was an honorably discharged veteran, and it was a misdemeanor. Now, the cops can no longer stop and get into the faces of hippies and POC because "they smell weed" since my goal was to stop the arrests, and we did. I was also trying to get myself and several of my friends criminal records expunged because it was ruining their lives and they have all been expunged over the last five or so years. The exclusively democratic politicians who have gotten involved due to the perception they can milk the issue for votes are the ones writing the laws that are handing the industry to large scale profiteers. They could have written the laws restricting cultivation to small farmers but they didn't because as I pointed out, they are greedy and incompetent.. It's the reason why people involved in the movement are dead set against congress passing a banking law until they make provisions for small scale growers. My customers aren't going to start buying an inferior product at double the price from a dispensary so your rant is a non issue unless you suck at growing and put out a substandard product. Which again, has nothing to do with me.
are you left-handedly abetting the overthrow party?

I really think you are working too hard at painting today's Democrats with the same brush as the Republicans with your post.

You say you 'cant stand' the double standards, for me, I really can't stand the false equivalency that people make when they play this 'both sides' crap. We have one party (the Republicans) that are currently brainwashing our fellow citizens and manipulating people's ability to easily vote so that they can maintain enough power to keep their states under their thumb, and then using that to further politic off of their bullshit social issues, firing up their 'base' to the point that they have been triggering domestic terrorist events.

'Both sides' left the building around 2010.

Donald Trump’s embrace of QAnon accounts may be creating an unsettling election environment ahead of the 2022 midterms. The former president has been re-sharing QAnon accounts with posts about him winning the 2020 elections to his millions of followers.

Recently, at a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, for GOP Senate candidate J.D. Vance, Trump supporters held up an index finger in salute to the tune of “Wwg1wga” — an abbreviation for “Where we go one, we go all,” the QAnon slogan.

“QAnon today is a carcass of what it used to be,” Jared Holt, senior research manager at ISD, told USA TODAY.
Jared said the movement “lost excitement and interest after its leader, Q, went silent in December 2020 after the presidential election (although Q reappeared in June).”

However, “the election denialism space has been a huge boon for some of these influencers, plugging them into new audiences,” he explained.
While QAnon conspiracy support may not be what it use to be, many of its sympathisers found common ground under election denialism in the last two years. Trump boosting accounts that push this kind of misinformation could help reinvigorate the core of the conspiracy movement, call into question election results or lead to violence.

In another article for INSIDER, Jared points out that this is as transparent as Trump has ever been regarding his QAnon following and there is no room for plausible deniability at this point. And while this could put his more moderate leaning supporters at risk, Jared thinks that at this stage that’s pretty unlikely to happen.

“I’d like to think that doing those things would be a form of political suicide, but Trump has been a fixture of modern political discourse for more than six years now. It is genuinely difficult for me to imagine that any Trump fan who has plugged their nose this long would be swayed if Trump leaned further into QAnon.”

A children's entertainer who has been performing since 1992 says that she was distressed after receiving a racist QAnon-style voicemail after she went to cheer up kids in Uvalde, Texas who were traumatized by the mass shooting at the Robb Elementary School.

Click2Houston reports that the entertainer, who only wishes to be identified by her stage name Bippy, was shocked to receive such an unhinged voicemail that accused her of being a "pedophile" while also hurling a racial slur.

“Everything I do with the kids is to make people happy,” said Bippy, who is a Black woman. “So when I heard it I didn’t think that I heard it right the first time and I just kept listening to it over and over.”

Even more disturbingly, Bippy tells Click2Houston that she received a mysterious call the very next day in which the caller tried to lure her to a particular location but wouldn't provide any contact information whatsoever.

She said that this made her feel frightened for her safety.

“I go into people’s homes, I have to deliver bounce houses, popcorn by myself at times," she explained. "I go into their backyards, to venues by myself. I’m afraid that what happens if one day I go somewhere and I’m subject to abuse.”

QAnon influencer Juan O. Savin is building a coalition of partisan secretaries of state who could help rig future elections in favor of Republican candidates.

Savin, a longtime conspiracy theorist whose real name is Wayne Willott, co-founded America First Secretary of State Coalition (AFSOSC) with Jim Marchant, who's running for that office in Nevada, to organize efforts to place like-minded candidates in charge of states' elections, reported The Daily Beast.

“On Friday mornings, I have a call with all my candidates from around the country,” Savin told attendees of the Truth Tour 2 last week in Clearwater, Florida. “Some people aren’t aware, I actually have the largest candidates group in the country: candidates coalition, secretaries of state, governors, attorney generals, all that.”

After Donald Trump's loss in 2020, his supporters have looked at secretary of state offices as a means to force Republican wins, and Marchant has made that explicit in his campaign in Nevada.

“When I’m secretary of state of Nevada, we are going to fix it, and when my coalition of secretary of state candidates around the country get elected we’re going to fix the whole country, and President Trump is going to be president again in 2024,” Marchant recently said.

Marchant blames his own 2020 loss in a congressional race on fraud, and Savin says they tried to overturn those resuls before turning their eyes to secretary of state races nationwide.

“The very first candidate I brought into this was Jim Marchant,” Savin said. “I was helping him on the legal side. He’d run in Las Vegas for U.S. representative and his election he lost. We fought it on the legal stuff because we said, well, something wasn’t right. The clerks didn’t see it that way. So we weren’t able to reverse the situation on the vote and get it looked at, so I said, ‘The secretary of state’s doing all sorts of weird stuff here. We really need to be going after that position.’”

AFSOSC solicits donations through the Marchant-led PAC Conservatives for Election Integrity, which has raised more than $400,000 this year, and one of its largest donors has been the America Project, which is headed by Trump allies Michael Flynn and Patrick Byrne.

Savin's group has endorsed candidates in multiple states, including New Mexico secretary of state candidate Audrey Trujillo, Arizona secretary of state candidate Mark Finchem, and Michigan secretary of state candidate Kristina Karamo, and the QAnon conspiracist has been telling followers that Trump's allies are encircling Washington, D.C., with concertina wire ahead of violent action around next month's election.

“Anybody that’s still left in the city after three days, you’re an enemy combatant," Savin said. "We’re gonna come get you. You can come out or we can blow you out, we can drag you out, you’re coming out of there one way or another, and that’s the way it’s going to be in D.C., right [...] Divert the Potomac, flood the city. It’s the swamp.”
