qb lights

So this is the final set up I have decided on. in Canada we are only allowed to have 4 plants, so I will have 2 clone(grow) cycle and the other two in a 3x3 tent to flower. I narrowed it down to two lights for the 3x3 grow tent. any suggestions on the best one for the tent?

The more boards/diodes spread across the canopy, the better.

These bboards have quite a few more kinds of diodes than yours there. But yours are like hLg R Spec. Very nice.
The r spec are out now. So its 272 of the regular lm301b diodes and 16 red diodes.
They dont say what the spectrum is for the 272? The older qb288 v2 is only in 3k and 4k .
I have 4 qb132 @ 3k and 4 @ 4k . both running around 200w for 200$
I want to add 100 more watts using one r spec v2 288. For 110$ with heatsink, board, and driver. Shiittt. Thats a no brainer. If only they had 3500k r spec 288's

Why do you want 3500K r spec? 2 3000K & 1 4000K is basically the same spectrum I'd imagine.

Youre in luck. R-spec is 3500k base white, you can actually see the spectrum on the hlg web. No, it doesnt doe it explicitly but its very obviosly between 3000 and 4000k. Also think they mentioned it on gml show.

im sure i read its 4000k base with 630,680 added red, more or less the same as a qb96 but spread out more.

Thats the new trinity and the old elite. The r-spec is 3500k + red. You can actually see what spectrum the base white is if youre youre carefull and salty.

Save money and build it yourself. Whats it doing flower or veg? The qb288 comes with a double heatsink and 2 boards for 190ish, a driver is not difficult to wire. Just dont make the mistake I did and get the model a driver with the pot built in so ya dont have to learn how to solder one onto the given leads. Its not hard but , unnecessary for most people.

To help run the twnt cooler. I have 2 sets of qb132 and at 75% load on the hlg240h1750b ots right @200 each fixture. The twnt is 4x4 so I could use another 100w run @50-75% to keep heat down.

This is the setup I went with. its a 2 in 1 tent (3x4) with a 3x3 grow(flower) space. The flower space has a HLG 260w light. On the small side at the bottom is a Bestva1000w to grow a few plants before going into the flower side. The top is three florescent lights for starting clones. I am hoping that this process will keep 2 plants in the flower side at all timesIMG_0274.jpeg IMG_0275.jpeg IMG_0272.jpeg IMG_0273.jpeg

You could easily pull air through both sides with a piece of duct with a bend in it. Or a Louvre.
It's not literally sealed though, right @jsoickle ? More of just a temp wall that connects to poles on all 4 sides?

The wall between the flower/grow compartment is sealed with velcro, there was some light leak I sealed with duct tape because of the different light cycles. The grow/clone side should have some air movement because it does get a little warmer and the carbon filter isn't drawing enough threw. I may have to add another fan to such out the warmer temp and get the air moving. Those florescent lights were on sale at local Canadian Tire for $10 each. I bought three and mounted them together and they been working awesome
