Quantum boards Noob

Hey folks.
I’m a new member. So many helpful and intelligent discussions on this forum. It’s so helpful for tips, ideas and information.

Which brings me to my first.

I recently bought some quantum boards from China. Quality stuff.
Hlg Fotop V2 600h- 2pcs- 800 Im301b
(Two boards each 300w) 48b meanwell driver (3000k)

And 2, Hlg 240h 228 Im301b ( Each 240w)
48b meanwell driver. (3000k)

Any ideas on how best to run this set up in a 5x5x7 tent?
Have anybody experience with these lights?
I’m unsure on distance etc.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
(All drivers will be outside the tent)

Cheers and have a great weekend
Happy Paddy’s Day

Just space them as evenly as possible.

It would probably be easier with one type of board rather than 2. 240w setups is usually started out at 18 inches and id probably do the same with the FoTops.
I prefer more FoTops at a lower wattage, max 150 w and no heatsink.

You have a lot of light in that 5x5, you will need super tight control over the environment, temps and humidity control, to be able to take advantage of all that light.

Thanks bro.. that’s a lot of great tips. I had just one 240 board on 5 ladies, but growth was pretty slow after 3 weeks. So put the 600 in yesterday. But at 60cm, and on 75% the leave were all pointing up. So i raised the lights to 70cm and put the dimmer to about 60%.
And already the leaves have dropped a bit.
I’m totally open to any suggestions bro.
Peace and love man

Sounds like you got it covered. Remember the closer you want your light the better control you need of environment and feeding. Leds dont heat the plant as much as hps which means it wont drink right unless you have enough heat and rh in control.

That’s a great tip. I obviously want the girls drinking as much as possible every day, so i will focus a lot on controlling the environment. I think with my humidifier and intake/outake set up, i have the humidity /temp dialed in.
When i push the bitchs into flowering, what % do you think i should have all dimmers on.
Thanks again mate
