Question about alternating light color from veg to flowering.

Ok guys. I have a question for you experts. I've seen photos of alot of your crops and i'm seriously impressed with all of your talents.

This will be my first grow attempt. It's gonna be a closet grow and using CFLs. I'm going to LST the plants and of course keep my light source within 2 inches of the plant.

I want to sprout three ladies in a 4x2x6' closet. I currently have;

(6) 27 Watt 6500K CFLs
(4) 47 Watt 2700K CFLs
(10) Raspberry Cough non-feminized seeds. (Praying I get 3 females out of them then i'll clone after that.)

I'm going to be using Foxfarm supplys. The Ocean potting soil and both foxfarm veg and flower nutes. I also grabbed a bottle of ph up and ph down. And various other ph testers ect.

I've been reading your posts religiously making notes that I keep in a small journal I have. (Also where I will be recording plant progress and notes for review later)

The exact specifics on the lights;
The 27 watt are "Full spectrum" but I figured at 6500k they would provide good light for veging. They put out 1400 lumens.
The 42 watt lights are "Soft White" at 2700K and put out 2600 lumens.

My question is, I've read that you should use only 2700ish K for flowering. And obviously the other end of the spectrum for Veg. But would there be any negative effect to using all the lights the whole time?

And a secondary question which I'm pretty sure i'm good on but while i'm here why the hell not? Do you think that's enough light?

They will be in 5 gallon buckets and LSTed around the buckets for a longer Veg period. I'm trying to maximize yield if I get this grow right I'll buy some HIDs, probably an HPS 600.

Please, any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance. I'm going to buy the rest of what I need tomorrow so hopefully I'll have seeds in the ground next week. I'll be sure to post photos.

i used the 2700k's for veg cuz they have a good lumen output. i had great results and you will too. i am now using those bulbs for flowering.

My last grow was 2700k start to finish. I had roughly one once under 170w of CFL. Not huge, but a decent amount for a first grow. Use what you can get your hands on.
