question about auto flowering plants

I've only grown photoperiod plants. (12/12 to flower).

My new box is built and I have about trippled my size.

I thought I might order some new strains and I've been checking out the autoflowering strains.

My question is:

Can you keep autoflowers in the same box with photoperiod (I'm not giving up my buddha cheese)?

or

do they need thier own box for a 20/4 light cycle?

My stats:

Indoor, controlled enviroment
HPS lights for flower cycle
Coco Grower
1/2 Organic (foxfarm) and 1/2 Chemical
(im sciencing! LOL..trying to see which plant produces better on which fertilizer)

First, autos should be on 24/7. Second, you "could put them under 12/12, but you would just be reducing their growth potential by denying them light and energy.

Autos don't "have" to be on any light cycle. That's why they're called autos. Uncle Ben recommends letting them catch a little rest at night for root developement, as well as to not bleach out new growth.

thanks, I think I will trash the auto flower idea for a bit and maybe pick it up later in the year.
