I am a new grower. I have chosen to use earth juice for my nutrient. I was wondering if anyone has used this nutrient before. The directions tell me to use the grow, bloom and all the micros together for all stages, however I feel like i should omit the bloom in veg state and omit the veg in the blooming state. Is this a good strategy? Does it matter if I use all the fertilizers at once? Also does earth juice work better as a foliage spray or water addition?
You are a new grower, EJ has been around for awhile. I wouldn't try and out think them on how to use their products.
You can leave the bloom go in the veg state (I do), but you will need the grow in the bloom state since the bloom has no N.
Micro and catalyst all the way through.
Meta-K is also good to have if you are using nothing else in your mix. I use some, but I also have kelp meal in my soil mix as a source of K.
I don't foliage spray at all. Besides this stuff being 'aromatic' as noted, it is an invitation to mold problems, at least for me.
Yes, you can mix it all at once, just don't do it full strength till you see how the plants react. Like 1tsp/gallon, not the 1tbl/gal. It's easy to increase the dose, not so easy to take out if you over do it.
Be sure to bubble it for 24 hrs before use. Wakes up all those micro beasties in there and really helps. This is very important to get the full benefit of this stuff, along with the proper pH.
It's good stuff! Good luck.
