Question about end of harvest

OK so my question, and I know a lot of people that are new to this as well's question is. Can I cut only a nug off of my plant and dry it up to see if she's ready. That way I don't f*** it all up. Trichomes are looking translucent.

you can do anything you want to "your" plants

but yeah we all take early buds every once in a while

Don't pull nothing yet! Actually looks like they went straight into flower so i wouldn't touch them untill done because not much to pull off. How long have they been flowering?

Patience is a learned skill as part of growing... they have a few weeks to go and I selective harvest almost all the time, taking top buds as they mature, letting lower buds go a bit longer... quick read on harvesting... http://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest
