Question about growth chutes below the top chutes on mainlined plant

So I’ve been following Cocoforcannabis’ Mainline tutorial and I haven’t had any issues other than a few branches splitting from the main stem (not completely) which I addressed by taping them up.

I have a question about the additional growth chutes I see appearing along each main. I topped my plant to have 8 main colas and after doing the third and final topping, I noticed growth chutes appearing along each main as you go from low to high on the plant. Am I supposed to keep or remove those lower chutes?

To clarify, as the plant has developed since I did the final topping, new growth chutes have grown beneath the two top main chutes on each of the four branches off the main stem.
I’ve attached some photos for reference. My question is: are you supposed to remove this growth? The plant is in a five gallon fabric pot and is running out of room for growth, and I figured I wanted all the energy focused on the top of the plant, so I removed the growth tips along the branches and left the fan leaves. Will removing those hurt my yield? And will they grow back?

This part has been frustrating because none of the tutorials cover it. They only go over what you need to do to get the correct skeleton for the mainline. Hopefully my post makes sense! The first few photos are me trying to highlight the lower growth tips I’m referring to and the last two photos are after I removed the lower growth tips.
So how bad did I fuck
