Question about pollination....

I am currently trying to pollinate some plants for the first time and I was wondering if I remember reading correctly....when the pistils of the female are pollinated they turn orange.....? am I correct? anyone know? :mrgreen:

The pistils turn orange whether the plant is pollinated or not. They start to turn orange during the 2nd half of the flowering cycle; by harvest most all of them should be orange.

I've heard they turn pretty quick but only a couple of hairs died quick some took a few days. I definitely have more seeds than hairs that turned red.
