Question about seed growing

Ok so heres my dilema:

I have orginally 6 cups with seeds that have already seen 24 hours of light. I now have 5 cups of danker seeds that i want to give a chance to try and grow.

Can you just continually give seeds in soil light? Or should i wait til i give the other seeds light? Im wondering this bc i dont remember if seeds grow the same as plants you know ( 24/24, 18/6, etc...) or can just pumping these babies with lumens?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would go 24 hours of light for the seedlings. Keep the light low enough so they don't start to stretch, but not so low you burn the fragile seedlings. Have they sprouted yet?

Good luck with your grow:bigjoint:

24/7, not 24 on and 24 off.. just leave them under full light, with no darkness for like two weeks or so, and at that time if you want, you can cut the light back down to 18/6 to give temps a break and the room a chance to cool down a bit.. otherwise, you can leave them under full 24/7 light untill they are big and old enough to switch the lights to 12/12 to flower them.. you will know if they are ready to flower when they start to put out nodes (branches) unevenly instead of evenly, and when you see preflowers.. one may occur before the other, so either one of them is good enough of a sign to know that they are ready to flower, so you don't have to wait to see both uneven nodes and preflowers to start to flower..

You can use 24 hr of light for the first week. After that, and really the entire veg time should be 18hr light, 6 hr dark. Never longer than 6 hrs dark until they are ready for flower.

Keep the floro light at least 6-8 inches away for the first week. Then 2 inches away. Apply NO nutrients for the first week and a half. Then very light nutes. Water once a day until you see 10% runoff.

So beans were sowed tuesday (non germinated ) in small cups with MG soil. Since its saturday, is it ok, that i havent seen any signs of life? Its really start to worry me.

Ive grown like this last time and it just took a while? Am i doing something wrong here?
Patience, that's all that's needed. I soak my beans for twenty four hours in distilled water before I put them into the soil. I don't know hydro but I suspect that the germination time is similar. Some beans just take longer than others. I would start to worry after fourteen days if nothing was showing.
