ok so i wanna get some seeds, and as we know its illegal in some states in the U.S so hypothetically speaking if i were to get some seeds sent from a friend form "california" (he/she would put a fake return address of course) and they would send it to my house under a random name(so if it does get seized and caught, i could just say i dunno its not mine its not even my right name, maybe someone mailed it to the wrong address?) would it work?

also if its sent from a state to state(U.S of course) would they even bother checking?

thx for who ever can help or if someone has already done this plz leave some imput

Its illegal to ship pot seeds via the mail. But to answer your questions:

1. Yes

2. No

Keep in mind that the USPS processes envelopes through rolling machines. If you don't protect the seeds in some way, the machines will crush them in the process. A friend of a friend sent another friend some beans wrapped up in aluminum foil, then put them inside a CD case. The case was then put into a padded envelope that is made for shipping CDs. My friend told me that the beans arrived intact. I wouldn't try that if I were you though ... *lol*

well even so, i woudent even get at trouble at all, cuz i live with more then 1 person and no one knows that i grow, so if nething ill just dismiss it as not being mine or they sent it to the wrong address. they cant reallly do much after that wut do u think

Hon, things like that pass thru the mail....everyday. It's always a risk to some extent. It comes down to a personal choice of whether or not you are willing to take even the slightest risk. No one person can guarantee anything but the more 'precautions' you take...as those listed above...the better chances are that things will go as planned.

Uh uh ...

UPS and FEDEX are not subject to constitutional law ... and the post office is. UPS and FEDEX can open packages without a warrant. The USPS handles millions of packages every day. I'd stay away from UPS and FEDEX if I were you.

It's soooo illegal. Don't you know someone you can share with you? Can you take a cutting off someone's plant instead? Maybe like me if you check around you might have a local seed bank. It's underground but they will give out seeds. Not many (only 6 at a time) but that equals 6 plants.

yea where i live there are no seed banks.. hell i might just do it theres no onther way i can get lowrdyer seeds from where i live, so a friend from cali can hook it up for me. and i dont think they ever open up random mail, sure they might screen it but wut will come up? just a bunch of dots lol

I know someone who has a friend who ships the beans in CD cases like I described above all the time. According to what my friend told me, there was trouble only one time and that was with customs in Japan. The beans were shipped to Japan in a CD case and a customs agent opened the padded envelope, tore open the CD case which was taped closed with transparent Scotch tape, and discovered the beans inside. The person the beans were intended for got a letter from the Japanese customs dept that said: MJ seeds are illegal in Japan, therefore we have confiscated the seeds. That was the last he heard from the authorities, but he tore down his entire grow anyway just to be safe. Other than that, this friend of a friend has sent beans hundreds of times inside CD cases throughout the States with no problem what-so-ever. Always used the U.S. Postal Service too.
