Question about the trichs and flush

Really hard to tell from the pics due to the HPS color, but pay attention to the percentage of red hairs. When you're at around 50% you should only be a week or two from them reaching 75%, meaning harvest time. Alternatively, you can get a 30x pocket microscope and check the trichome color. Good luck. i dont know if i got it right but u dont flush the trichs - u flash the plant meaning water profusely..

Yeah, you only give your plants PH'd water for the last two weeks, though some people add things like molasses.

you need to check out the growfaq. look at the flushing section because you seemed to be confused on what is is. flushing is where you stop using nutes at the end of the plants cycle so that when you harvest the bud isnt full of chemicals. you should do this about a week or so before you harvest. some do more some dont do it at all. now for the ph you should have been phing the water all through the plants cycle. you can buy ph meters online or at most garden and hydroponic stores. everyone seems to like the digital kind.

ph is rating of acidity. to ph balance your water, you test it, and either up the ph or down the ph according to the reading. For me the balance ph is 6.0 in my medium.
