Question about using Rain Water

I have been using rain water For my plants. I had a koi pond that I am taking out. I emptied and cleaned the liner. Right now it is just collecting rain water.
Is it ok to used the water for my plants? I add Foxfarm Big Bloom to the water.

Pretty much all plants on the planet drink rainwater. I think yours will be fine.

I would have used the water with the fish in it

Check the pH. What medium are you using?

Fergit that Nutes use your fish poop, and a pinch of calmag to the rain water or better 50/50 tap, you may need the micros

What do you feed those fish? Is that food meant for ornamental fish or is it certified for human consumption? Nobody thinks of the crap they put into those fish foods like things to make the water not cloudup and chemicals to keep the food from crumbling quickly. Not to mention additives for color enhancement sometimes medicine for parasites etc. Unless your feeding those fish something you can eat I would steer clear and leave that water for ornamental plants.

The medium is just Compost and peat moss. Past year there hasn't been any fish since a heron decided to
have lunch one day. Only thing going in is rain water.

Big time killer but thats nature lol they are cool to watch fishing its amazing how long they stand still till they catch i see them a fair bit on the rivers near me

Rain water is perfect. I run my whole house on it. Depending on your medium you may need to PH it.

Stagnant water BTW is not rain water.

a lot just reading different posts.

Rainwater is fantastic I have a water butt connected to my garage and use it all the time to water the plants.

It’s all I use I grow organic never had an issue I don’t ph I do add Calmag every couple feedings
