Question for seasoned outdoor growers

this is preferably for seasoned outdoor growers in Northern California. I have 6 plants in 65 gallon containers, it’s July 31 and the smart pots I’m using are filled to the brim with roots. I do not want to transplant again and enjoy the size of my plants as is (backyard has limited space).

1. Will smart pots (fabric) eventually cause rootbound issues?

2. Will keeping my plants in the 65 gallon smart pots for the rest of their life span cause a decrease in flower production?

Appreciate your help, that is if you know what you’re talking about. Thanks

The magic of fabric pots is that they do not get root bound. The root tips will go to the edge and then when it gets air at the sides, the tip will die and actually prune itself.
If the bottoms of the pots are on the ground, the roots will actually go through the fabric and go into the natural soil.
65 gallons is a decent amount for a single plant and if the soil is dialed in right and you have a decent amount of sun etc you will be able to get a very good pull from that amount.
Just remember the more root room the bigger yield. If you are unhappy with the results then get bigger pots next yr.
