Friend has a plant that the Pistillates (hairs) are about 55 to 60 percent orangeish brown in color and the rest still white. When looking through a magnifier glass at the white ones and the surrounding sugar leaves, their trichomes are clear as hell with no traces of amber at all. So what should she do ? Harvest or wait, even though more than half of the pistillates are orang/brown....?..... None of the leaves have turned yellow or have started to die off either...... We are very confused, please any help would be very appreciated. One more thing to add is that it's been in flower for now a total of 5 weeks.

wait until u start seeing at least some amber tricromes.
Well we do - but there on the orangish brown hairs only. It's the white ones and sugar leaves that are all clear. So your saying we should wait till those start to turn amber .... right? thanks

Impossible for me to tell from those pictures. The plants look very lush and green, nothing like my room looks when they r ready to be chopped. 8 weeks is shortest any of mine have gone which leads me to believe that 5 weeks would not be enough. Wait until u have 50% amber on top nugs, that means the plant is generally ready. BETTER TO ERROR ON LETTING THEM GO LONG!!! That is unless u are worried about pest/mildew.

hey man good looking girl you got.
I think most strains take at least 8-12 weeks
this part of the grow is always the hardest.(atleastforme)
the days will seem to stop moving soon ha.
but of you give it atleast three maybe 4-5 weeks more those buds will pack on alot more weight. And potent
like purpleyhaze said. Better to go over. Than under.

my first run I pulled about 4weeks early not being able to controll my self
and man was I dissapointed

good luck on the rest of your journey man your doing good

It's been five weeks, the hairs are turning, what are you waiting for?? I am in the cold country, so my harvest is mostly timed by the frost predictions.....but come the first of September and the hairs are turning amber, I am cutting!!!
