to answer your ? the cfl puts out about the same lumens as an 100 incandescent.

you're gonna need a lot more lumens for 2 plants, the sun itself puts out 10000 lumens per square foot, idealy you want to get close to the same. though lots of people have grown some real dank stuff with half(5000, duh. ha ha).

how big is your box/closet/cabinet(whatever you're using)? AND does the bulb have a kelvin rating?

Yes, it means it will put out the equivalent of 100w, but only use 23 watts of power. But that is no where near enough light for one plant, let alone two.

thanks man an no i didnt c a kalvin rating i was looking for one but all i seen was the 1600 lumens ...i seen a 100w bright white it put out like 3000 some lumes but i didnt know if that would be good for veg stage...and my box is only like height 18.5 inx15.5 in very small cabinet i just put a 14w in with it in a y connector thing so thats like 114 watts right?

between the 2 bulbs its only 28watts, as for vegging you'll need some 65k(anything within 57-68k, 65k is most common) bulbs as labled "Daylight". you can get some higher wattage cfl's from lowes/home depot to really bring up those lumens.

when it comes to flowering switch out lighs for 27k's(anything within 2-3k, just that 27k is most common), of course you can use a mix of spectrum, that never does any harm but very important to be dominatly one aver the other between vegging and flowering

On my grow I used 6-26w 6500K (100 watt equiv.) to veg with. I put my plant into flowering at 12" tall using 10-26w 2700K (100w equiv.) and almost a month and a half later it's about 32" tall. So you are going to really need to tie your plants down with such a small grow space.

how many kalvin does both of the cfl's i have have?? would u know cuz it doesnt say one the package it came in
usually amoung all the brands of cfl's "soft white" is 2700-3000k, good for starting seeds and flowering. go get some high wattage daylight's and kick those girls into veg and switch back to soft white's for flowering, keep in mind that when flowering you will need to add a bulb or 2, flowering requires more light to complete its life cycle

do you have any ventilation setup?

That 100w equivelant means nothing, in regards to the plant. What matters is what the actual wattage is. Soft white is your flowering color (2700K), and bright white, or daylight, is your vegging color (6500K). You'll need a lot of those 23w to flower with.

how many do u think ill need cuz the space i have is limited and it already gets close to 90 degrees with jus that 100w an 14w in there even with the fan on

With two plants, if you're sticking with the 23w bulbs, then probably at least 12, maybe more. You'll have to get better ventilation in there. You can continue as you are, of course - but you won't yield enough to make this worth the risk.
