question plzz

is it true that if temps are 85+ in the grow room my plant will most likely turn out male??? or is that false ?? my grow room is 85+ i have a pc exhaust fan an a pc fan that blows on the light and plant to keep it cool an its still hott sometimes it reaches 90 in there

im not sure thats true but am no expert lol

you need to get that shit cooler than 85 tho..

Well it is common belief that higher temperatures will result in more males. There are other things like more blue light and higher humididty and other factors that are said to produce more females but not necessarily a fact. I have struggled with heat my whole "career" and never had high male ratios except for this grow I got 4 males and 4 females which was odd for me usually mostly female and I think that this grow has been cooler than most of my other grows for the most part and I'm using all MH lights too. Anyways I wouldn't worry about it too much 85 degrees isn't that bad as long as it doesn't get any hotter but growth will be better if you can drop it down to to 75 to 80 degrees.

ok thanks how could i lower the temp i have an exhaust an one that jus blows in the room i need to keep this stealthy 2 no loud fans an its a small room bout 18.5"x15.5"

how much do you think i would get then what is the best amount in your opinion if i do everything right and all is perfect

if everything is perfect shoot for 1.5-2lbs a light.

If you're temps are getting into the 90s, the least of your problems is gender. The plant will die before it reaches maturity, if its exposed to prolonged temps of about 94+.

Just went out of town for easter, was only gone for about 38 hours, and got home, the grow room was like 95, all my plants were bone dry, hanging over, they looked dead. Shot some water in, got the temps down, bam! they perked right up...a little bit of browning on the tips, but caught it early enough.

i have lumitex ones and they say that if you turn them all the way up they can give you another 100 watts out of your light but you just have to change your light bulbs faster but does that matter any . but thanks for your response it really helped me alot what strains are the heavy yielders im a big fan of greenhouse seeds they seem to have all the heavy yielders but if you know some that are heavier indoor yielders than greenhous let me know thanks alot

For a small space the only way to drop the temps is to increase ventilation or cool the incoming air. You still might need increased air circulation for the cooler air to be efficient.

all is good now it stays at about 80 to 85 now only on the hot days it gets up to 90....but now on my younger plant theres lil brown spots like rusty brown colored lil spots on the bottom leaves do know what could b doin this??

you can grow monsters in a greenhouse...all the big ops that i visit when i go up north use the regular magnetic ballasts(the digi fucks with the comcast signal when you have 20 of those bitches runnin), but to get serious nugs I know blue dream is a heavy yielder..green crack is a fast producer(usually done in 7-8 weeks). if you want quality and not quantity kush is the way to go.

you ususally wanna change the bulbs after 2 cycles, i use hortilux.

dont know much about seedbanks..im fortunate to have 1000s of clones at my disposal.
